After staying in a couple of hotels in Europe, we have come to realise there isn't always a refrigerator available.
Something that is necessary if you have medication which requires refrigeration. Location was good. Didn't have any meals as local cafes were close.
We had urgent need for information about English speaking medical facilities. We enquired with the staff. They weren't much help.

The staff and location
The rooms were terrible. The décor was awful, windows opened to a wall, and the staff kept them closed making everything dark. The floor was cold granite, all in depressing gray. The room felt icy and uncomfortable, and the noisy AC made it hard to sleep. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

really noisy A/C system.
kind of felt like we were getting sick while in the room. bkfst and common rooms no ac at all. maybe that’s why flies were at bkfst?

Check in office is not in a Main Street level. Have to log your own luggage’s through many steps go down to main office.

Location is excellent, breakfast was good, the room was large.
The hotel decor was shabby, Including decor and furnishings. The aircon was so loud it sounded like an aircraft landing.

Disappointing
The location was central. With that said, what you need to know is a) the AC is extremely noisy. Luckily we didn’t need it so the front desk could turn it off; b) we had a room on the ground floor facing the street it was like being on the sidewalk. The pesky mopeds (food delivery drivers) are coming and going late into the night - as there is a very busy pick up point (McDonalds of all things) for fast food delivery. The area is a gathering point for a lot of people and it’s noisy. If you come here bring earplugs .
Different room, the hotel, in general, is pretty charmless. 4 stars - hmmm maybe on paper, but don’t expect too much. Was adequate.

Front desk manager gave us a room 2 hours before check in. Great ! Room was dingy, sparse. A/c did not work had to open windows …. Unfortunately many many mosquitoes… very restless 2 nights. Will not stay there again. Not represented by stars claimed on website.

The staff were excellent. Virginia was very nice and even put a special surprise for my husband and I for our 45th anniversary celebration. We were very happy with our stay. Loreto was also very helpful. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was close to everything in the city.
Just the noise from the other rooms. It would be good to advise customers to be quiet after a certain hour, maybe after 10pm so as not to disturb others.
