Tucked away on a tree-lined street, but just one block from high-end shopping, you will find the Family Affair Luxury Room & Suites. They occupy the entire second floor. My room was quite spacious and furnished in great taste. The bathroom was huge! It had a large tub and a large walk in rain shower. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They arranged a taxi to Palermo Centrale the day of my departure. It is definitely a small, intimate operation - you really are treated like a guest.

good location in quiet area, excellent value, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff - no qualms whatsoever about recommending, unless you are seeking luxury accommodations where you will pay at least 2x as much.
there was nothing I didn't like, except I was sorry to be low on cash and had to pay the city hotel tax on my card - If you enjoy your stay, do them the favor of paying that daily tax in cash, so they are not taxed on their tax!!

This place is like an upscale hostel in the middle of the newer section of busy, busy Palermo. My experience is as an older, solo, woman traveler who finds the car navigation of Palermo as difficult. So, the location was not great for me, but if you want to be in the heart of this city, this is a great location.
The room was very small. There was no room for my checked luggage (medium-sized), but the room was nicely appointed, well-thought-out for the size, and had some lovely amenities. And, it was very clean.
The reception was not super helpful. I had to wait 3 hours after getting in the room for a correctly-working AC remote. I also tried to get the address of the parking garage in advance (it's not on the property) to avoid maneuvering the crowded streets, but had to park in a blue zone and go up to reception to get location.

The hotel was clean and the room felt newly renovated.
The room was so small that we could not fit our one, normal 20kg, trolley bag other than on the floor which blocked the door which is dangerous in the case of a fire.
The breakfast was also underwhelming with few options, probably due to the small size of the serving area.
The hotel is located a bit outside of the city center in an area which is poorly lit and side walks full of trash, making it hard walking to and from sightseeing sites and the train station, esp in the dark.
We had a hard time finding the hotel because the GPS signal was poor in the location combined with a small hotel sign.
The prices is too high for what you get.

The location of the B&B is perfect and the room were clean and tidy but the space...?
Our room was very small and we had a great puzzle to place and open our suitcase.
The breakfast felt a little bit stressed. As the staff wanted us to leave as soon as possible.

This hotel was really lovely. A real hidden gem. The rooms were comfortable and decorated nicely.
Breakfast was a nice spread with plenty to choose from.

This place is adorable! The rooms are spacious and very well decorated. We loved the area, very safe and amazing shopping. I loved the bathroom products so much that I am searching to buy them for my home! The staff was extremely helpful, the even left us breakfast the night before as they knew we had an early check out. If I come back to Palermo I will stay here again!
The only thing I would change would be the beds, they were a little uncomfortable but not bad.

The property is a well managed boutique hotel with interesting architecture. The staff is excellent and assists with making sure your stay is positive. The location is close to the highlights of Palermo but in a safe and interesting neighborhood.
