The historic palazzo which is now the Eurostars Centrale Hotel, is gorgeous. The location is absolutely fantastic - walking distance to all the main attractions of Palermo. Great restaurants all around! The staff was fantastic; the service was the classic superb service of an upscale European hotel - you can only see that in the movies these days! The breakfast was magnificent!
Only one thing: something should be done with the Air Conditioning! The room was extremely cold all the time; it was impossible to adjust the temperature - it was always going back to the original freezing temperatures in a few minutes. We asked for help, and got help, but in the evening the temperature was back to 18 degrees Celcium! Miraculously, we were able to turn AC off entirely, but that is not a good option, either. So, THERMOSTATS SHOULD BE REPLACED, so future travelers would be able to enjoy their room comfortably.

This location CANNOT BE BEAT! We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor could be considered dated but all remnants of a 5 star hotel are still there! The hotel and our room were SPOTLESSLY CLEAN. We were upgraded to a king size room, it was huge (so appreciated). There was a free large bottle of water upon arrival and coffee in the room with porcelain cups. Nice touch! Dont stay anywhere else in Palermo!! I won't!

This hotel is a good reflection of the city it's in: once grand, now a little rough around the edges but hanging in there. There's a lot to like: the location is unbeatable for a Palermo city stay, the staff were all good, the public areas are beautiful, e.g. the breakfast room, the rooftop bar. The breakfast was excellent.
It's just all a bit dated. Bed and furniture in our room were OK but not great (e.g. a small table had a broken leg and was unusable). Shower temperature was impossbile to control, it just randomly cycled between hot and cold.

The hotel was very clean, well-located in the center of Palermo. It was close to the city's main attractions. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was decent, and it was a nice touch to get a complimentary glass of champagne when returning from a walk around the city

Central location with easy access to everything. A stone throw away from all the major attractions, Bolero market and restaurants. Stephania(front desk extraordinaire) was very patient and kind(which is a big deal while traveling with kids and a senior person in tow). She helped navigate tricky Sicily specific things.
Property is gorgeous, with a great full buffet breakfast and very beautiful setting, we all felt like we were in Medici’s palace. Felt welcome and cared for.
We loved everything, young to old. Will definitely come back next visit to Pelermo.

The location and absolute great service of Jean Pierre at Front office ...plus great breakfast!
Unfortunately there were some maintenance works going on from 8:00 to 17:00, which did not allow us to enjoy hotel and rest during the day.
One major issue is the communication skills of Stefania from customer service/reception...very rude and unpleasant !
