Very sweet and comfortable space within a 20 min walk of many sights. Mario and his wife gave a warm welcome with lots of recommendations of what to see and where to eat. Breakfast was a lovely array of local biscotti and savory dishes for us. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Mario gave us the warmest of welcomes. He's passionate about Palermo and gave us a huge amount of information on arrival about where to go and what to see. He has a great personal touch. A highlight was being taken out for a local speciality meal that we otherwise wouldn't have known about. The accommodation is very close to the Metro station with direct trains to the city centre and Palermo airport. It's also an easy walk to the historic centre.

Mario was an amazing host!! He even met us at the airport which was so easy! He stopped and showed us some spots to eat and got us some treats. His place is full of special things that make you feel at home. He really went above and beyond to make you feel special and his love of Sicily really comes through. We would stay here again, hopefully for longer!

Very warm welcome, free parking provided by the host, not too far from the historic part of the city, helpful tips about local resyaurants
I think it needs to be noted that the stay was in a private flat on the 3rd floor in a block of flats. There are two rooms rented out, both with a bathroom one of which is through the living room. The owner does not stay there but comes to do the breakfast in the morning.and to great guests.

You should come because you like hosts that are warm and are invested in their guests wellbeing. Mario and his wife are really nice people, who goes the extra mile. Breakfast was excellent. Both of them have good recommendations for their home city.

Mario is owner and host. He has two units and lives off-site. He arrives in the morning to prepare breakfast and entertain us ?
Mario was awesome. When we arrived he helped me find nearby street parking saving us parking fees. He helped with bringing bags upstairs. His apartments units are 3rd floor but there is a lift so no problem.
Mario also provided great restaurant recommendations. The owners knew him and provided us wonderful service including in Cefalu’ where my iPhone went low battery. Mario contacted the owners of the restaurant who were able to find a charging cable. It was evening and we were an hour away. It was very important to be able to use the GPS on our iPhone.
Will definitely stay here again when I return to Palermo ?
Everything is great. Perfectly clean and very nicely decorated. We had our own keys for the building and our room, as well as private bathroom.

Everything is great about this property, from the host MARIO who’s very kind and resourceful to the bedroom situation. Mario made sure we were well equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. His breakfast is TOP NOTCH, as it’s a variety of local pastries, not just Sicilian but from Palermo itself. He’s proud of his city and love when other people enjoy and get to know it better. I have no words to describe the difference it made to us to have Mario as our host, thank you Mario!

Mario's B&B is the perfect place where to stay if you want to visit Palermo! Not only the place is extremely clean and close to the city center, but Mario's tips have been essential in making the best out of the little time we had in Palermo. Last thing worth mentioning is breakfast, simply great!

It was clean
The host Mario started off great by picking us up from the airport and showing us his place. Then we just wanted our privacy to get ready for a scheduled tour. We explained we had to get going. He just never stopped talking.... into his Google translate app by the way, he speaks very little English. Please be advised that this is a two bedroom 2 bathrooms apartment and there's a good chance that you will be sharing common space with complete strangers, if you do not book both bedrooms. Mario comes in and out of the apartment at his pleasure. I'm sure some of his guests would love his "hospitality " we found it invasive and annoying. The bed was uncomfortable the pillows flat, I could go on and on about the cluttered space...We did not stay our 2nd night we booked a hotel across town. The better nicer section of Palermo because the location of this place is not great either.

Mario is a super host, an enthusiastic, warm and very helpful host who gave us a great welcome with information about the city and its highlights and more. The apartment is meticulously clean and beautifully decorated. It contains two rooms, each with its own bathroom, but separated from the bedroom. The room was specious. Breakfast is based on sweet stuff, fruit, delicate pastries and great coffee and included a special amazing treat (I should have asked for the small one). The location was perfect with parking nearby and 20 minutes walk from city center.
We got the bedroom which its allocated bathroom was not attached to it, we had to cross the living room which wasn't too bad, except for the fact that the other bedroom had its bathroom attached while we heard their bathroom from our bedroom. this was disturbing, it would have been better if the bathroom near the rooms would have been allocated to the room with the balcony, our room in this case (just a suggestion). I also didn't like the plastic mat out of the shower.
