Wonderful
The best thing is the location, close to Porta Nova, Palermo Cathedral and Quatro Canti.
No A/C, but they have fans.

Pleasant
The apartment was very well situated right outside the center of Rome and within walking distance to all of Palermos main attractions and historical sites and restaurants. It was clean and the bedroom was large and spacious with lots of closet space but no full view mirror. There was air conditioning in the master bedroom which worked very well but it did not get to the kitchen where is would get extremely hot in the afternoon. There was an elevator that worked very well and was useful as the apartment was on the second floor. The apartment also had a gate before getting in which made us feel very secure. The bedroom also had a king size bed that was quite comfortable but they should really invest in new pillows.
The apartment is dated and could use some upgrades. The shower is very small and difficult for a big person to wash themselves. The owner of the apartment requested that we pay them through an international transfer which ended up costing me even more money and she also requested that I pay the commission for her. I was ready to pay her all in cash but she insisted that I pay through a money transfer. There was barely any dishwasher soap to wash the dishes which I found to be strange as this was the third apartment we stayed in Sicily and they all provided dishwasher soap.

Good
For one person just looking for somewhere to shower, sleep and make a cup of tea this was good value as very cheap.
It's very noisy: on main road with noisy cars and motorbikes into the night, barking dog and slamming of doors and gates in the block at 5am each day. Can't open window because of noise so hot even at end of October. Crossing the road is scary, but you get used to it... same in whole city. Needs updating throughout, especially shower, but you get what you pay for! Lovely host!

Wonderful
very nice location, maybe the best. It could have been perfect with air conditioning because the fan is really noisy.
theres a good kitchen but nothing to cook with.
