Wonderful
The staff was very helpful and friendly. They easily scheduled a 3AM taxi ride to the airport for our flight. They also kindly offered and prepared a to go breakfast for us.
The morning buffet breakfast in the courtyard at the boutique was a wonderful spread of anything you would like.
Just a heads up - Need to make sure to google the boutique not B&B. The boutique reception is where you will check in and the walk the block to the B&B.

Pleasant
Beautiful room with beautiful view. Comfortable bed. Smart tv. Staff is super kind and helpful (from reception to breakfast service). Breakfast is delicious. Location seems sketchy at first but I ended up feeling safe as if feels super local and not too touristy. Close to everything Palermo. Spa at the hotel is also great. But please read the cons as they’re quite bad.
The room wasn’t clean - there was a lot of hair and dust on the floors, which weren’t vacuumed; the rims of the cups on the room were super dusty because the tray where they lay was dusty; there’s a communal kitchen with tableware and I couldn’t find any that was clean, there was literal dry food on them; there are smell infusions on the property that have probably been there untouched for years looking super bad; the spa was great but had loads of ants; they provided us toothbrushes but one of them had something that resembled bird poop on them. It was surreal how almost discretly unclean the place was, we complained and nothing was done differently. There’s A LOT of stairs which isn’t great if you have a lot of luggage or have some kind of disability. The property ran out of water twice for which we had to call the staff, wait for them to fix it, and wait for the water to come back on, and even longer for hot water, which took a looooooong time. Sound insulation is terrible so not great if you’re a light sleeper.

Poor
The B&B was conveniently located near pedestrian areas. Parking was two blocks away, which is to be expected in an old, old city. Breakfast was exceptional, and the breakfast staff really helpful. Very good air conditioning. Reasonably priced, even after factoring in the €20 per day parking.
Where to start?
- pronounced sewer smell in the common area
- sheets don’t fit the bed, and no mattress cover or pad
- can’t be certain, but it looked like there were traces of BEDBUGS on the mattress
- all furniture is concrete, so it took a very long time for the air conditioning to catch up with the heat. This also means that you have to be careful getting into bed, lest you crack your skull on the headboard
EDIT: On checkout, we told the hosts about these problems. They offered a 20% discount, which we accepted. They then charged out card for the discounted amount. However, instead of voiding the previous payment, they cancelled the reservation. This caused their (or maybe Booking's) system to charge us a no-show fee. We have spent the last two months trying to get the duplicate charge removed. Neither the hotel nor Booking has helped us at all, and so we have had to dispute the charges. In short, don't trust either the hotel or Booking.

Very Good
Great location, clean and renovated comfortably. We stayed in the b&b rooms rather than the main building which was superb. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty enjoyed in a lovely courtyard.
Some minor aspects in the room didn’t work such as hooks that were loose so couldn’t be used and a fridge that wasn’t cold. Otherwise very good. These wouldn’t stop me recommending to others.

The room is beautiful and the breakfast oh my the spot is just beautiful restaurant and great food! The bed was comfy and it was lovely
The room was great however the drains smell like sewage and it became unbearable at one stage. Had to turn all the water on and open the window and it smelled the room up.
The B&B Door didn’t work and the last people in the room had not given the key back so we had to wait
The shower would go hot and cold and then not go hot at all

Good
The breakfast was good, but it's in a different hotel. They have lots of egg options, good coffee, cakes etc.
The B&B isn't in the hotel, this isn't fully explained on their mobile site. I thought I was booking the hotel, but it turned out I had booked their B&B, which is in a residential building with other tenants. The B&B has no lift and is up three floors of stairs. I was really disappointed with the whole setup.. The room in the hotel photos has a large chair, but this wasn't there when we arrived. The bathroom was a disaster, the shower flooded the bathroom as it hadn't anything to stop the water, and the fan made a dreadful noise. We could also hear everything that was going on in the room above us. We ended up leaving after 4 nights, I asked if they would give us some sort of refund, but they refused, which I thought was bad on their behalf.

Exceptional
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful during my stay, they all spoke perfect English and were attentive to any questions or needs. The room was stunning and pristine in a perfect location, I never had to walk more than 15 minutes to get to any popular part of Polermo. The b&b is located right beside a large, bustling, lively market. The breakfast was exceptional, full of a large selection of fresh pastries, cakes and fruits with an additional option from the menu, all included in the price.
Absolutely nothing, all expectations were exceeded especially for the price and location. If you are staying in Palermo, Casa Nostra must be at the top of the list.

This was such a treat ! The rooms are new and I felt like I was at a Greek retreat for some reason. I loved the bath tube in front of tv and I slept like an Angel on the bad. The breakfast was exquisite and Vincenzo was very kind and helpful!

It was very modern and beautiful. The bed and pillows were good quality. There was a wonderful balcony with a view of market. The bathtub had a bubble and light function, when I booked it I didn't know, so it was please surprise.
There was also toothpaste, toothbrush and everything needed for stay!
I couldn't discover where electricity plug for the coffee machine is.

Poor
The main hotel looked pretty, too bad I didn’t get to stay there
My stay was not as it was advertised online and I was quite unhappy.
When I stayed I was asked about transportation from the airport which I agreed on and it was not arranged. No one had told me that there wouldn’t be anyone to pick me up anymore and I had to wait over an hour for this communication to be made.
I also was asked about what time I would be arriving and told that early check in is possible but apon arriving it wasn’t.
I was most disappointed to find out that my room was not even apart of the main hotel and this was mentioned nowhere on the website. I specifically picked this hotel because it was handicap accessible and had an elevator. To then see that my hotel room was not part of the hotel and was all the way down two busy streets and up 72 stairs was very upsetting especially since there was no one to help with my bags. Additionally the doors aren’t clearly labeled and it was difficult to find which one was the actual hotel. When I asked about the room the desk didn’t seem to want to help and couldn’t offer me more than the explanation that “a few rooms are over there.” This should have been on the website. I was unable to use any of the ammenities as they were so far away from my room. It felt extremely unsafe to walk all the way to my room down the street at night as men would stop and try to talk to me on my way there. The main house that the room was in smelled very strongly of mildew and was extremely noisy as well and the shower didn’t work, only the bath did.
The towel rack was poorly screwed in and fell out as I used the towel. There were no seats, only a bed with no decorations on the walls at all. It didn’t look anything like the photos. Upon checkout no one asked how my stay was and I’m sure it’s because it is known that it wouldn’t be great.
When I messaged them after asking for compensation they left me on read.
