Very Poor
The location is very good. The apartment is very central. The balcony is nice. Its a quiet and cosy place, the host is nice although not honest about the property description.
1. Very misleading & dishonest advertising. It’s advertised as "1 living room + 2 separate bedrooms" where in fact everyone sleeps in the same room. It’s like a studio with a mezzanine. ‘Bedroom 1’ is in fact the sofa bed in the living room and ‘bedroom 2’ is an open mezzanine (See our pictures of the place so you can form your opinion)
2. When we complained the owner was dishonest and tried to pretend the ad doesn’t describe the place as having 2 bedrooms which is note true (see screenshot of the ad)
3. The sofa bed in the living room is very uncomfortable, you can feel a steel bar through your back when in bed
4. Strong cigarette smell in the apartment coming from the shared entrance
Overall, we came as 2 couples and were not expected to all sleep in the same (large) room with no privacy, we would not have booked this place if the description had been accurate.

Decoration as expected, as per the style.
Bed dowstairs is very inconvenient. Wardrobe only on the gallery.
We got a cake with some jam, biscuits, coffee capsules and a litre of milk for breakfast when arriving for two mornings.
There is a terasse but in the eve it is very noisy so forget about sitting outside.

Location, clean, big kitchen, comfortable shower, good kitchen utilities.
Height in bedroom very low and I am 5’5”, no blankets, mattress/box spring very uncomfortable, seating in kitchen and lanai chairs are weak and no place to stretch out, living room set up only small sofa to sit on, water in shower is not consistent, sometimes cold and water flow weak

It’s a very unique apartment with a lot of charm and details. Location is great, right at the edge of the historical center but a bit away from the most chaotic streets. Camy, the host, was very communicative and attentive and welcomed us warmly even with a delayed flight.
It’s a bit more pricey than average Palermo stays and for this price I’d expect a bit more comfort - especially the bed. Whenever my husband moved the whole bed would shake and I felt like I was in a bouncy castle with the springs poking my ribs. Would not recommend for light sleepers. Paying in cash is always a hassle - would be nice to accept cards or pay through booking. Other than that we were satisfied.

It took 5-10 minutes for us to get our room key even when we indicated what time we would arrive a few days earlier. No one told me to communicate using WhatsApp in advance.
The bedroom on the upper floor was extremely hot. The air conditioning did not cool the upper floor. The mattress was such low quality condition. I lost sleep with such conditions.
The internet capacity was low and slow and ran out out data while we stayed there.
The breakfast snacks were not fresh. Terrible pound cake and toast snacks from the box. Fruit provided was ok. The breakfast pictures you see in their advertisements is not what we got and is misleading.

Our host was really lovely. She was extremely prompt with all my questions. The apartment is well done up and comfortable. The location was fantastic, just next to Piazza Ruggero Settimo and from Teatro Politeama. Garage around the corner. We will definitely return.

Exactly as shown in pictures. Host met us in person for check in. Checked in with us daily to make sure we were happy and didn’t need anything. Quick to respond to any requests.
Loved the balcony, however smells of gas/ exhaust perhaps from restaurant below.Certainly can’t be controlled by host.Minor issue!

The appartement is really close to the city centre and is in a really safe environment. Vincenzo is a really great host and gave us some great tips to where to eat and have some drinks. His mother made us a homemade cake which was really good! We loved the appartement so much that we stayed much longer.

What a wonderful gem I was lucky to find for our 3 day stay in Palermo. The location was great, within walking distance of Teatro Politeama and with a nice selection of restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evening. As shown in the photos, the decoration is part of the charm of this place. The balcony is lovely, perfect to have breakfast in the morning. Vicenzo and Camy were wonderful hosts, very responsive and helpful.
Can't find many flaws to it, but if I was to point out what could be improved, I would say that the sofa bed is not very comfy and that breakfast was of median quality (though they did offer all we asked for)
