Wonderful
The rooftop terrace is wonderful-a respite from the sun and traffic. The location is very convenient-close to the cathedral and Capo Market also close to local grocery store and bars. The apartment is spacious and the kitchen well equipped.
While the stairs were not problematic for my husband and I, there are at least 60 stairs from the building front door to the rooftop terrace-while the terrace was definitely worth the climb it might be challenging for some. Our host Ilenia was extremely responsive, friendly and helpful-a real gem?
Air conditioner in small room is noisy.

Staying at Apartment Papyri in Palermo was an excellent experience! The location is perfect, situated very close to both the Cattedrale di Palermo and the Palazzo dei Normanni. This made exploring the city's historic landmarks incredibly convenient.
The apartment itself is clean and comfortable, providing a great retreat after a day of sightseeing. The roof terrace is a fantastic feature, offering a lovely space to relax and enjoy the views.
The host was very welcoming and ensured that everything was just right for our stay. Overall, Apartment Papyri is a top-notch choice for anyone visiting Palermo!

This apartment is all about the rooftop terrace - it’s amazing and makes the whole stay. Aside from that - lots of room, air con is excellent, location is great, entry instructions fab
Could have done with some slightly better cooking utensils - we cook for ourselves on holiday and the pans were in need of replacing. Stairs not good for anyone with mobility issues.

Well positioned centrally. Lovely apartment with all you need for a comfortable stay.
The lock on the front door had a tendency to stick. There was a knack to getting it to open and once you mastered this it was ok.

Great location walking distance to the city’s attractions. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Excellent customer service, very responsive and helpful.
Didn’t bother us but there’s no lift and 2 flights of stairs.

Fantastic central location. But also with range of local restaurants and bars. Very clean, good range of cooking equipment (pots etc). Security of central access and access to the soecific apartment was excellent. Great fridge and nice to have wine/ water/ beer available on arrival. Also, we were able to get in earlier/ when we arrived after an early morning flight. Iliana kept i contact throughout our journey which was also nice.
Cutlery could have been more robust. A few more mugs/ wine glasses would also have been welcomed. Also, for us, some instructions for how to use the microwave combi. The couch could have been more comfy to sit on.

As we had a car the host did not assist with payment for overnight parking on street -
A local cafe owner did it for us as the app is only available to residents- we paid him cash and be paid on line..

We loved the host. She was amazingly responsive and friendly. She gave a lot of tips and she was always ready to help. We even had a bottle of welcome wine.
The terrace was also great, best place of the apartment

Wonderful top floor balcony overlooking the rooftops and the spires. Superb location. Small local bar just opp down an alleyway for a quiet beer. Everything on your doorstep and hosts very hospitable and welcoming.
Be aware this is a top floor apto so stairs up and also within the apto so maybe not suitable for young children or the elderly.

The location is is perfect for exploring Palermo by foot. It is only 200m from Palermo Cathedral. The apartment was very comfortable and clean. It has facility to cook if you want. There are grocery stores near by to buy what you need.
The bed is getting on a bit and sag in the middle. There should be more hooks to hang towels in the bathroom and in the apartment in general. Although it says it has parking, it by via public car parks (free) which can get busy and since it is in Italy, it can be chaotic. We manage to park our car every night. Just don't bring a big car. The streets and parking spaces are tight! These comments are minor compared to what I like about the apartment.
This apartment is not suitable for people who can not walk up stairs.
