Our stay was a really pleasant one! Will definitely come back and stay again. And it will be a longer stay next time! Security measures are in place. Impressive set up and sumptuous breakfast! Clean, location,art collection, breakfast. The breakfast cook was lovely and talented.
We are on a month trip of Italy, two of the weeks in Sicily, so we have food for our car stops and breaks. We needed to refrigerate and the room listed one. Ours was not working
We let them know as we had a lot of expensive cheese, etc. it was not fixed after letting them know immediately on check in and again the next day. So about $40 of fruit, cheese and kefir went bad. We would have given them a ten and are sorry not to be able to do that.

Location is the most perfect! Far away from the crowds to have a quiet sleep and close enough to every attraction. The stuff is the most helpful and very nice. Definitely my best random choice made on vacation.

The staff was really nice, showed us a map for how to walk around efficiently.
We stayed at ground floor. Room was clean, cozy, the ac worked well. And bathroom was clean too.
The location was great too, close to Teatro Massimo, everything was walkable.
I knew the room was separated from bathroom but I didn’t get it until I got there. They were separated and the bathroom was down to the hallway but there was a key so you have privacy.
FYI city tax on the website was €2 per person per night but actuality €4 per person per night. They said they changed.

It's housed in a classic old building in central Palermo, just a block or so from Theatro Massimo and close to so much else you'll want to see. The building is likely an old palazzo, with its small door in the larger double-door entrance. The elevator is straight out of the 1930's and 40's, with the old wired cage and inner wooden and glass doors. You'll expect to bump into Humphrey Bogart.
The only hitch in our stay was not having any staff on hand to meet us. But, if we had been better checkers of our messages, we would have found the several codes needed to access the building and our room. Still, the human touch on arrival would have been nice. Once we did meet staff the next day, they were great. Parking is a trick, so if you drive, check out their garage recommendation before you arrive.

Luca was welcoming and very helpful and had good directions . It was also in a great location and all the staff were very willing to help with what ever we needed.
I was in a double bed that was very uncomfortable and the first night( till we changed it) the mattress cover was inside out so we were sleeping on plastic.

Nice and cozy place in an old building, reasonable for the money we paid. When booking, keep in mind that some rooms have an external bathroom outside the room, while others have it inside. We had to pay extra to change the room.
The building and lobby are not easy to find. The signs on the door could be clearer.
The hosts were nice to us, although I don't think they appreciated that we asked a lot of questions, especially about renting a car in Siciliy, but this was our first time in Sicily and we wanted to get recommendations from locals before renting ))
