It was a bit dated, felt more like a high end 3 star hotel - like a nice premier inn.

the location and the free coffee
£250 a night - yes not euros pounds £250 - no breakfast - tiny room , hardly had aircon , lift broke down , I paid just under 900 euros for 3 nights that works out at £250 a night its without doubt the worse most expensive hotel I have every stayed in and we have been away 2-3 times a year over the last 10 years

I liked The location and the view from the terrace.
The room was dirty , we found hairs on the bathroom floor and on the shower. Super disappointing.
The water of the shower was lightly warm and the water pressure was very very low , so was very difficult had a nice, relaxing and warm shower after a long day. Never happened in my life in a 4 star hotel . Very uncomfortable
Plus our room had no view, we never opened the window because we had a wall in front of our window

Very good location to popular tourist destinations and the metro.
Friendly and professional staff. Great welcome experience with the front desk assistant.
Wonderful aperitivo at the outside bar and amazing service from Loredana - she was the best!! :-)
The room price was too high for what it was, in my opinion. Granted, the hotel is in a good location and I'm sure it's more or less in line with other hotels of that level in Napoli.
I wasn't so impressed with the breakfast and the breakfast room is a little dated - however, during the summer, sitting outside on the large balcony must be nice.

This is a smart property conveniently located in by the port and the castle, next to a metro station. Breakfast on the terrace was very pleasant. It’s a 5 minute walk to the main shopping street for lots of good restaurants etc.
The rooms got very warm at night - I don’t think the air conditioning works out of season. The beds are quite hard - not a problem, just an observation.

My room was very small. Not big enough to open my suitcase except on the bed. It had a balcony that was littered with cigarette butts. This is not acceptable for business travel and not up to Mercure standards.
