Wonderful
Classic luxury hotel that is slightly dated, but still very nice. Nice size room with quality fixtures. Beautiful breakfast area and nice selection. They prepared a to go breakfast when we told them we had to leave at 3:30AM. Staff every professional and attentive. Great restaurants walking distance. Taxi stand right next to hotel and the staff will get you one instantaneously. They allowed us to check-in at 12 noon which is unusual these days.
The city is doing improvements in the area which will be nice when completed. (streets and castle)

Location was spectacular, right on the esplanade! The hotel was fabulous, clean and well maintained and the buffet breakfast was plentiful with a great variety of food. Staff were super friendly and helpful

We unfortunately only stayed one night but we had a great stay and i would definitely come back. Fabulous hotel. Great location. Lovely room. The pastries upon arrival were absolutely delicious. Breakfast was scrummy too... wish we could have stayed longer.

-Water drained very slowly in both the sink and shower
-2 beds were joined together to form a big bed but I kept waking up in the gap between the 2 bed mattresses
-piecee or furniture, mirror, light fixtures, floor, bathroom fixtures, desk mat, window frame, and walls looked very old, tired and abused.
-price of $400 a night for an old an poorly working room
-location is unbeatable, but considering the downsides, I would look for better options.
