The price and the 4 bus lanes outside the hotel to the town is a plus
Noise from the road , the entrance that is literally in the road , the smell of an old hotel .

Convenient position. Comfortable rooms. Spacious toilette. Very helpful and friendly staff. Low price for a 4-stars hotel.
The hotel is dated. Rooms are somehow noisy (there is heavy traffic outside). Breakfast is a bit disappointing for a 4-stars hotel. Although there is the choice you can expect, there are some flaws that solicit the customer attention: the hot food is not maintained hot and the pancake machine is out of order.

Wonderful
I liked my room, simply furnished and spacious. I liked the location, close to Capodimonte Museum and a pleasant walk to Centro. I very much appreciated the helpful staff. I very much appreciated the quiet, relaxed atmosphere.

Booked this hotel as sleepover before flying out of Naples Airport.
Hotel is very good, clean, all facilities are there and team members are very good.
Building is bit of heritage type, so some may not like it but very good hotel, rooms are spacious and clean.
Do visit local terraria restaurant near to hotel, A Luggetella. They serve nice authentic food.
At hotel we were served by Francesco and he was very helpful, booked cab for us as well for airport and it arrived in time.
Breakfast is also good.
Location is both positive and negative about hotel.

Friendly staff. They quickly changed our room from the noisy street side to somewhere very quiet, and they organised a taxi to the airport for us. Location is ideal for visiting Capodimonte palace, which is 10 mins walk away up the steps opposite. Excellent trattoria just round the corner. The rooms are simply enormous, though the whole place (which used to be a convent) has a slightly gloomy atmosphere.

Beautiful property with the amenities necessary. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. The rooms are both spacious and comfortable; equipped with huge bathrooms. I originally planned to stay three nights, but extended for a fourth due in large part to my stay at the hotel.

Wonderful
Great breakfast buffet with lots of selection. The Room was nice and clean. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful.
Grand Hotel Capodimonte is a 15-minute walk from the Materdei Metro Station, and just 200 metres from the exit number 5 of Naples' orbital road.
The city centre is less than 30 minutes down hill.
Free parking is difficult.

The staff went above and beyond: taxi booking was done by them so we could have a quick dinner in the city center. They were very helpful in communicating with the parking. They made sure we had breakfast to go as we had an early flight to catch. This hotel is a great location if you want to visit Naples and arrive by car (but don't want to drive in Naples). It is also very close to the airport by car.

We were here for one night for our flight out of Naples. The hotel is a bit dated but was spacious and had all the amenities. The reception was able to book us a prepaid cab to the airport and helped us throughout our stay.

the room was very spacious. close to Capodemonte park. The reception stuff was really nice and easy to deal with.
the hotel is next to a busy road and there is no proper sidewalk at the entrance to the hotel. there is also not so many restaurants and bars in the area and in general it is not the prettiest part of town. my room was facing the road and it was pretty noisy, plus there is underground train underneath so the bed slightly shakes when the train is passing.

Good size of the room. Neat and clean. Very good breakfast.
Hotel is a bit far from city center. It wouldn't be a problem normally but the traffic is busy and it takes almost 30 minutes to get from city to hotel. They don't have coffee machine or electric kettle in room, and neither is it available in the lobby or bar.
