Nice roof top restaurant, huge rooms and clean, great service from receptionists, beautiful view over the sea and Vesuv. Walking distance to many restaurants and coffee shops on the sea shore.

Location is perfect, so is breakfast although this time it was not served on the panoramic terrace overlooking the Bay of Naples and Vesuvio. Too bad…
I had to carry all my luggage up the stairs at the entrance of the hotel. This is the second time it happened there. I travel internationally for extended periods so I carry some luggage. Fortunately there was a kid with his parents who helped me carry it up the stairs but the hotel needs to find a better solution than just one bell man as he was evidently doing something else.

Second time and would repeat it again. The terrace of this hotel is the gem of Napoli. Unbeatable views of the sea and Vesuvius. The hotel stuff are amazing and the rooms are beautiful and mantain the history of its place.
nothing!

Beautiful view of Mt Vesuvius; the room was spacious and luxurious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The lobby and main rooms were gorgeous. We had a delicious breakfast buffet. I wish we were able to have a longer stay.
Nothing, it was a great experience!

Theo was a rude bell boy who kept pressuring us to leave and didn’t want to help us and damaged another person’s luggage. I think because of his age since he was old.

Pleasant
The room was HUGE. Beautiful, tasteful, curtains and windows. I think there were 7 separate enormous windows Two separate small terraces, views of Mt. Vesuvius, quiet. Two night stay. We liked the location - away from Via Toledo but close enough. Check in staff very nice, valet parking prompt - though they tried to overcharge us. Thankfully the bellman straightened that out. The manager graciously and charmingly met us at checkout to address our justifiable disappointment in the stay. He waived a small bar bill but that was it. He said we could stay there "as their guest" next time but did not offer anything else for our current stay. He hoped we wouldn't be too hard with our review. I didn't want to be but after these months, it still spoiled our trip to Naples and we don't want that for other people. Maybe the other smaller rooms are better. The manager said they would address the problems right away - after we left. I hope they did.
There was no comfortable place or chair on which to sit. Two tiny uncomfortable tub chairs in a vast space, one dining chair at a desk. On the first day, we requested a room with a sofa. Only smaller rooms with no volcano view have sofas. Our room had room for two sofas! So we requested another dining chair so the two of us could sit on a small terrace together enjoy a glass of wine with the breeze and the view. Never came. We took turns in the chair. The standing lamp is broken, leaning awkwardly, I propped it up against the wall. Even little things - the tissue box was not refilled, the vacuuming was subpar, the phone was not connected properly (I fixed it)... I wrote Eurostars about our experience. They never replied.

Very grandiose, classic, "old school", marbled property. Absolutely gorgeous. Like an old villa or estate
Some of the repairs especially the electrical system was a little worn out...

Wonderful
The location is wonderful right on the waterfront promenade and near several nice restaurants - a couple of these where the prices were not 'adjusted' for tourists. It is a nice but long walk to other nearby attractions in the city; taxis are readily available, a block away. Room was a nice size and had comfortable chairs and a writing desk. We spent several days with the city view room but could still see Vesuvius from the balcony. Front desk staff friendly and efficient as were the bellmen.
The housekeeping was hit and miss. They made up the room sometimes very late in the day and other times early. It took a special call to get the shampoo container refilled in the room. Everything else was great!

The location was perfect, being at the end of the row of hotels, it had the best view. The room we had was huge and pure luxury. The view from our room and our adult daughters' room was breathtaking. The terrace was large and private. The bed was the best we slept on while we were away. We were there for just one night, on our final night of a two-week tour of Italy before we flew out of Naples in the morning. It was a great location for getting to the airport and topping off our trip in a luxurious and memorable location. We also really enjoyed walking along the main strip by the sea at night. There are a ton of restaurants and just people out walking around enjoying the view and the weather on a Saturday night.
We found it difficult to find the hotel. Directions could have been made much clearer. It was very difficult to find where to pull up. The front entrance is not obvious, and we didn't know it was the very last building on the road. That would have made it much easier. We ended up driving in a circle at first. When we called the hotel for help, they really couldn't direct us, although they were very nice. When we got there, the doorman and the staff in the lobby were fabulous.
We arrived around 4 pm and hadn't eaten, so we went to the rooftop bar where they were still serving a small menu. It was hard to get service. We had to ask if they were serving, and then we continued to wait for a long time for someone to come. The same with the check. The drinks were good, but the food was mediocre at best. There was also a very loud hotel guest repeatedly swearing, and the staff never intervened.
I thought breakfast was included in our reservation, especially at the price level of the hotel, but it wasn't. The eggs, sausage, and bacon were not good, but the pastries were, and so was the coffee. For the selection and quality, it was highly overpriced for the experience. You don't stay at this location based on price, but then you expect to get certain things for what you are paying, with service, quality, and amenities. Our previous luxury hotel included a fantastic breakfast, and its level of service was spectacular.
All that being said, the rooms, the view, the bellman, and the lobby staff made it the perfect place to be for one last night of a very memorable trip.

The hotel was palatial and one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. The rooms were opulent and spacious as well. The location along the Naples waterfront was exciting and within walking distance of the port, museums, piazzas, Mergellina, Galleria Umberto, the Teatro, Spanish Quarter, and much more. The staff was attentive and very helpful and the roof deck was a spectacular way to finish off the evening.

Wonderful
We had two rooms reserved. The first room was for a single traveler and it seemed to be the same size as most European rooms. The send room had two travelers and was a corner room and was extremely big.
We requested an early check in that was confirmed with an email before our arrival. We were told that the people left late and they still needed to clean the room. For an hour they had me keep checking back. The last time I was told a few more short minutes. I sat in the lobby across from the registration desk for another half an hour. After I saw the gentleman who was helping me leave for a break I went up and checked and the room was ready. It felt like I was very much being ignored, even though we had an agreed upon time for check in and they were two hours late.
