Wonderful
The location is great as you have nothing but shops and restaurants around you. Walking distance to Porta Venezia and to any kind of shopping. Metro station Porta Venezia just next by and links you with the center and any attractions you might want to explore.
I don’t like the dark corridors of the hotel, it seems that after every recent remodel all the hotels I have stayed are driven towards the dark colors for the hallways.

Good
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cristoforo Colombo – Member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts. The hotel impresses with its elegant design and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great choice for both leisure and business travelers.
The room was not spacious, but clean, and comfortable, with a cozy bed and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. I especially appreciated the quiet environment, which ensured a good night’s sleep.
The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and professional, always ready to assist with any request. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.
Breakfast was rich and varied, offering plenty of fresh and tasty options. Pastries were on the go-go and visually was the breakfast strong point. The restaurant also serves high-quality dishes in a pleasant setting.
The spa, although not included, was one of my favourite and strongest points of the hotel. Of course, is better when it is not crowded, but we had a very enjoyable experience.
The location is convenient, with easy access to the city center and nearby attractions, even on foot.
My biggest complain was the a la carte dinner....the menu was poor in terms of choice. Finally i ordered some gnocchi for me, my wife couldn't find anything to her taste - on the one page that they gave us it was almost impossible to find something. The meal wasn't edible....full of oil, fat and cheese. So let's recap - you are giving clients a meal where you combine carbohydrates with fat with fat and with fat...where is the nutritional equilibrium? where is the protein?
Since my stay there i can not eat parmegianno no more. A complete disaster!!! From our 3 night stay there that was the only time we dine at the hotel. Even if they change dinner menus regularly from what i have understood, i would advice against it.
Other than that overall, a good experience – I would not return but you should definitely try it!

We absolutely loved the location! Everything was within walking distance.
My only dislike was that we had no control over the heating/ac.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We made use of the gym equipment and enjoyed the restaurant for a special meal one evening on our stay. We also made a booking for a massage and Hammam bathing experience which was a nice addition to our stay.
The room temperature was way too warm. We mentioned it at the reception desk and they sent up someone to look at it but he was not successful in doing anything more than what we had already tried. We tried turning it off but it was no cooler and just got stuffy, we tried sleeping with the outside courtyard door open but the traffic was noisy.
The other issue we had was with the water pressure. The bathroom is set up with push button on/off. If the water is too warm you can adjust the temperature but this also turns down the volume. At one stage we couldn't get any more than a dribble out of the tap regardless of the temperature. It was very temperamental and the showers were not a good experience.

Location
According to the services listed on your website, there is a parking area, and the car is handed over to a hotel employee who then parks it. I was surprised to find that this service is unavailable from 11 PM to 7 AM, a fact not mentioned on your website. I believe the hotel management should clarify this for guests, as I couldn't find a parking space after 11 PM and was forced to return early during my stay. This is a form of deception. The breakfast staff on the second and third days were unprofessional; there were numerous errors. The hotel's presidential suite, where I stayed, was not as I had imagined and did not justify the price paid.

Fair
The location and the price
Unfortunately, our stay started with a very poor check-in experience that left a lasting negative impression.
Upon arrival (around 6–7 PM), we were not greeted at the door, and no one assisted with our luggage. We had multiple heavy bags and had to carry them ourselves all the way to the reception. The lobby was empty, with no queue, yet the check-in process was extremely disorganized and slow.
We were checked in by a staff member named Claudio, who appeared confused and unprepared. Despite having a confirmed booking, we were asked for our reservation details and reference number multiple times, which was frustrating. The process took far longer than expected, especially considering there were two staff members present and no other guests waiting.
Our room allocation was also disappointing. We were given rooms on two different floors, despite traveling together, and there was no attempt to accommodate our request for at least a decent view. Additionally, there was no iron in the room, which is a basic amenity we expected.
While the rooms were clean, they were quite small, and the bathrooms were very tight, with limited space and minimal amenities overall. On top of that, there was persistent noise of an unknown source throughout the night, which made it very difficult to sleep and significantly affected our comfort.
That said, we would like to give credit where it’s due. The night before checkout, a staff member named Gianfranco was genuinely helpful and professional. He assisted us in arranging transportation, ensured our luggage was properly handled and loaded into the van the next morning, and clearly explained the pricing and payment methods. His friendliness and efficiency stood out and were much appreciated.
In summary, the main issue was the check-in experience, along with the nighttime noise, both of which were poorly handled and disappointing. The checkout support partially redeemed the stay, but overall, the experience fell below expectations.

The Christoforo Colombo Hotel is centrally located for all the attractions of Milan and is freshly and smartly decorated. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, and the chef was excellent. Our evening meals were taken in the hotel, and the food was of a high standard, from an interesting and well-thought-out menu. There is also a delicious breakfast menu.
I cannot think of anything that could have improved our stay.

Very Good
Maybe this is the standard in Europe in general, but the rooms are very small
Another suggestion is that the window should be opened in a way for the air to come to the room while also having the blinds closed this is needed as in winter ac’s are not used and the only way to get cold air is through outside
