-The location is excellent

The staff are working hard to make the guests happy...
... but due to the sheer number of the latter, not everyone enjoys the same attention. Just one example: while we were waiting for our room to be cleaned (for which some extra time was requested, by the way) we went to the bar where no one seemed to be in attandance, even though it was supposed to be open and there were quite a few other people waiting. When the barman casually turned up, I asked him not to go away because to wanted to consult the menu before placing an order. He left all the same not to reappear by the time our room was ready. I wonder if it was all down to the language barrier or something else...

Very well located and charming hotel.
Also the staff was cordial and helpful
Unfortunately there was poo in the pool so we couldn’t use the swimming pool, which in this heat was a pitty.
Also the shower knob to change from bath water to shower water was defect, therefore it was complicated to have a simple shower.

The hotel is exceptionally well-located, practically within walking distance of all the main sights in the city, with plenty of excellent restaurant options nearby. The breakfast service was quite good—if you head down early, you can get a lovely table next to the window facing the street. While it might not be the most practical option if you are flying in due to the high taxi fares from the airport (which is standard for a city like Milan), it is incredibly well-connected if you arrive by train, with easy access to taxis, Uber, and the subway
In the room pictures, there appeared to be a proper desk or table that I could use to work on my laptop. However, it turned out to be very tiny, and a large box with tea and coffee facilities took up most of the space on top. Additionally, closing the room door was a bit frustrating; every time we left, we had to firmly push it to ensure it was properly locked and secured.
Beware: In Italy, the cord hanging from the ceiling in the bathtub/shower is NOT for turning on the air extractor. If you pull it, reception will call you immediately thinking you have an emergency!
