The location was great! Walking distance to a lot of things, especially shopping and dining. Metro station was about 10 mins away, there could be a closer one, but the one I used was nothing over 10 mins. This hostel included AC which is awesome! I liked the pin code to unlock the room, rather than a key or card. They had a nice game room and lounge next to the laundry. I also liked that they have activity nights (quiz night or karaoke). I didn't participate, due to having other events planned, but definitely something to look into as a solo traveler. It was very safe neighborhood. The beds were comfy and my bunk had a curtain attached for more privacy. They provide extra bedding in the room, and one thing I respect is the free women pads/tampons in the female dorms. They also provide free toothbrush kits and lotion at reception. I didn't utilize it, but very awesome to include. They also include a free beer for your stay. Overall, a nice stay. The bed was comfortable, although, you do have to make your bed if you're in the top bunks. Not an issue, atleast I know they are clean sheets and cases.
They only had one extra bathroom that was working. While my room included a bathroom, sharing with 5 others, did make me use the other restroom. It constantly didn't have toilet paper, so I had to ask for it. There is only one washer and dryer for the whole hotel... while I always lucky to use it in the morning (didn't wait for others), this might be an inconvenience to some. As for breakfast, I wish they served hard boiled eggs. The fake scrambled eggs were not it. Nothing to major, or anything that would deter my stay from booking here.
