A wonderful stay in Milan – highly recommended!
Everything about our stay was excellent!
The hotel has a fantastic location, just a 15-minute walk from the train station and around 10–15 minutes from the city centre, making it perfect for exploring Milan on foot.
Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very welcoming. We especially appreciated the small, thoughtful details that made such a positive difference and pleasantly surprised us.
But what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. Absolutely outstanding! Incredibly professional, genuinely welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. Hospitality at its very best!
It's the little things, combined with exceptional service, that make a hotel stand out. And this one certainly does!
A truly lovely experience, and a hotel we would happily recommend to anyone visiting Milan. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff are very helpful and friendly.
My stay cost £450 a night and the hotel rooms are just not up to scratch. The rooms are tired - walls are not clean, curtains are not clean, my mattress was so soft I would sink into the middle of the bed. Water wasn’t replenished in my fridge every day. My telephone was broken and beeping nonstop and had to have it replaced. No room service was available, and there was very loud music outside due to an event until 10.30. The lighting in the breakfast area is very dark. I asked to turn the lights on and they didn’t.
I had to ask to change rooms as I was given a wardrobe that didn’t have full length hanging space.

I found Avani Palazzo Moscova by browsing Google Maps because it was suggested I stay in the Porta Garibaldi area. It was also within my budget, since other hotels seemed a lot more expensive. The hotel was easy to get to. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Porta Garibaldi step on the Malpensa Express. I received a very warm welcome at check in and I was able to get into my room earlier. The room is comfortable and spotless. There's a good sized desk if you need to work. The bed was very comfortable. It was also very quiet. The hotel's about a 5-6 minute walk from the top of Via Solferino and about a 19 minute walk to the Brera Pinocoteca. Lots of restaurants on Via Solferino and Via Marsala. It's also near the #10 trolley line, which I took to get down to Navigli.As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and plan on staying here again the next time I come to Milan.
