I went to Milan to watch a gig round the corner from the hotel - it was more than perfect for my needs so even though it is not in the centre, it's close to LInate. Loved the mountain view from breakfast room too. Good select and loved how quirky it is!
Waiting for the tram but that's not really Collini's fault :)

Breakfast was excellent, my daughter and I enjoyed the food and staff very much.
Just wish there was a change up of food once in awhile. Otherwise enjoyed everything.

The property is awful!
We booked it because it was closer to the airport, but in the photos they only disclosure the super heroes / action figures, but the hotel is full of explicit sexual figures, such as a naked Snow White in the elevator, demonic images and so on.
I would never recommend it to people, especially families with young children

We came for a concert at La Fabrique. It was perfect location since the venue was 5min away. The tram 27 that was outside was a perfect connection to the Duomo 20-30min away

Friendly stuff, design is unique. Rooms are clean, some welcoming snacks, everything looks like photos.

We booked this as it was close to a Get Your Guide activity
The decor is bizarre. Very creative and dramatic - but definitely odd.
The a/c was set by the hotel and in October our room was 22 Celsius ! Plus the windows were unable to be opened and the handles removed and welded.

It appeared to be clean
We checked in and the lobby had several couches, each decorated with pillows made to look like condom wrappers. There were chairs in the form of naked women. The atmosphere felt like a sex shop. We got to our room and it was very hot and uncomfortable (we were there in summer).

The facility was modern and clean
Red hallways were a bit harsh but I understand tjis is part of the artistic appeal. Shuttle to airport does not accommodate 9am flight.

An example of how to make your hotel interesting.
The incredible hulk and a couple of M&Ms greet you in reception whilst on the 4th floor Batman is the lift attendant and in room 410 Capt Jack Sparrow guards you whilst you sleep (hide your gold in the safe :-) ) . The dining room walls area talking point in itself so you can never have lull in conversation as you are watched by a Zoo of stuffed animals. The alter needs to be seen to be believed. The staff are all so welcoming with just the right amount of attention.
Cant recommend this hotel highly enough if you want something 'a bit different'. The chain hotels could learn a few things from the Collini Rooms.
Parking is ok. Still haven't found the garage but as I was in a hire car the 'Private' on street parking was suffice.
