The hotel benefit from a convenient close to the main railway station. Breakfast is satisfactory, although certainly not exceptional for a property of this category.
Unfortunately, the hotel falls considerably short of the standards one would reasonably expect ftom a five-star estanlidhment.
Housekeeping and maintensnce require significant improvemrnt, as the overall levrl of cleanliness is simply not up to the matk.
Even more disappointing was the attitude of certain reception staff, whose rudeness, arrigance and occasionslly aggressive manner are entirely unacceptable in an establishment claiming five-star status.
The dining experience at the main restaurant was particularly disgraceful. The spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino was an unappetising, poorly executed mess, bearing little resemblance to the classic dish. The Milanese was equally disappointing: excessively greasy, drenched in butter and thoroughly unpleasant.
A five-star rating should reflect genuine standards if quality, rather than merely serve as a decorative distinction. Regrettably, this hotel appears to have forgotten that principle

Bedroom was a good size with large bed overlooking The Milano Centrale. Nice bathroom with all toiletries provided & in very good condition. Extremely well presented with nice touches like welcome fruit & sweets. Excellent service & choice of food for breakfast

The spa is beautiful and just about the only part of the hotel that is taken care of apart from the lobby and hallways.
The room was run down, furniture was damaged which was an eye sore, if something in my own home was damaged i would fix it or replace it, as a premium hotel they have the resourses to do this immediatley but have chosen not to.
The housekeeping and room service is the worst i’ve experienced, what is the point of staying in a “good hotel” if the service takes over 1 hour to recieve even after 2 follow up calls.
This hotel is falling short of standards, the service is off and the up keep of rooms is overdue. Its not good enough, I should have stayed at the Dorcester, at least i know exactly what to expect there.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The breakfast was superb. The hotel's location and proximity to the train station are very nice. The staff is friendly and always eager to provide their support.

The bed and pillows were amazing and the spa pool
The only hotel out of nine on our European trip that didn't offer us a proper welcome drink such as sparkling wine and your hotel was the most expensive
