2 minutes outside the old city wall, very clean, and has everything you need. loads of free parking in the street.
The whole booking in process, just put a lock box next to the door with a code to access keys, simple and easy.

The location just outside the city walls is very convenient in a quiet neighbourhood. The little buses which travel through the centre of the old town have stops nearby. The apartment is clean and secure and the staff we interacted with were friendly and courteous.
We have stayed in this property a number of times over about 10 years as we are very fond of visiting Lucca. What is clear is that, while the apartment has no significant problems, and we have always enjoyed our stays, no money has been invested back into the property for a long time and it is begining to be a bit jaded. Simple things have not been maintained and items supplied, such as cutlery, are at a bare minimum. If we visit Lucca again, as I hope we will, I would look for an alternative accommodation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lucca in Villa San Marco. The location was convenient, offering on-site parking and easy walking access to the center of Lucca. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

It was very well situated with ample parking. Well equipped kitchen though no convenient sockets for the electric equipment.
The hot water was not very hot, on one occasion just tepid.

Very spacious apartment, good kitchen facillities to make own meals. The staff are all lovely and its located perfectly a nice walk to the center of town.
Overall a very pleasent stay only a few minor fixable things.
Very good use of space within the appartment lots of luggage space and plenty of clean nicely presented towels.
We were given a map on arrival to find the appartment which was very helpful and clear.
The bed was slighly uncomfortable, could tell it was worn, the shower is not the best and could use a new shower head with more power, the bathroom sink stuggles to drain (my partner fixed this issue while staying there) there was what looked like left over biscuit on the bathroom windowsill. Maybe a welcome drink in the fridge such as water or a snack as travellers may not know where the shops are and in need of refreshment after longer journeys (we had no car).
The adress provided is slighly different as there are 3 to my knowledge different villas approx 10-15 min walk from one another. So this may extend the journey slighly.

Very nice, quiet and pleasant area to stay. 10-15 min walk to the historic city centre.
Everything could be more clean and a bit newer than it is.
