The room was really lovely and we loved the theme. The bed was huge and was really very comfortable. The toilet and shower en suite were a bit weird at first but then I realised there was a clear plastic roof to them. The shower was very nice and the bathroom was spacious and well lit. There were also a few power points in the room making charging things no hassle. The kitchen area and the terrace were also really nice and it was really lovely to just sit on the terrace at night while Lucca was winding down.
The room's lights were not great in that, there was no way to have a light on without it making the whole room a bit light so it wasn't possible to stay awake in the room while my partner slept since the light would wake them up. But I got to sit on the terrace instead so it was not a big deal.

Super kind staff, great location from the city center + train station! I see that the owner had a good care on the place with love and proud. Great to stay in the place, might ask for another time when i visit Lucca again!

A very quirky clever spot. In the heart of Lucca, it is in a perfect location. Parking is an issue as it is placed at the perimeter of the city and you have to hike into the location. We got the studio suite which is a working photographic studio, brilliant. Lucca is such a magical place and this B& B makes it even better
Light switches were a bit confusing. Location is a bit tricky at first.

Great Location. Great staff/owner. They offer a fridge and a freezer to store our food and there is a dispenser of water. The minibar i think it is based on a honor system where you pay the price written on it.
In short, this facility is not an hotel, it is more of a B&B. So if you arrive out of hours or you want to collect luggage it can be complicated (I did not wanted to impose on the owner too). On the practical side our room had a window which faced the terrace where other guest can have breakfast (i.e. no privacy, noises both ways). Any movement i the bed resulted in terrible noise. No conventional bidet.

Very original place in the heart of Lucca. One of a kind. Especially, if you stay in the Studio. Location, room, facilities, service - everything is there. It's also very clean. Totally worth its money. Would stay there again.
The rooms on the ground floor have a shared (closed) door and nice acoustics. So you can hear everything, which could be quite disturbing. Not a problem, if you are lucky not to have any neighbors. Street may get sometimes noisy since its connecting main touristic parts and there is a restaurant at the corner; but usually it's quiet.
