We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa San Marco. The apartment was excellent and our hosts were lovely. The location is central to everything and there are bikes for guests to use. A very quiet neighbourhood with car parking.

This apartment was a great choice to visit Lucca which is a small charming city away from the big tourist crowd of Firenze. It is located just outside the city center, which is reachable with a pleasant walk in a quiet area - in 10 minutes you are able to walk on the ancient walls. The house itself is very big with a massive terrace on the kitchen which is perfect for eat also because it's shaded - from the living room to the bedroom there's a little nice sunny balcony. The shower also is very big. House is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, owen, a common garden. Pets are (more than) welcome.
Etsuko is a SUPER host, very accommodating, kind and attentive. Will definitely come back!

There was no A/C in the appartment and it was not obvious from the description. There was also a smell of old cloths in the bedroom. This made our stay impossible during Summer time, so we abandoned the appartment after the first night. We have asked the owner for a partial credit but she refused.

The location was excellent! The host was terrific, communicative, friendly, and everything I could have requested.
Collecting the property keys was a challenge precisely due to WhatsApp. I could not access Whatsapp due to a lack of service, so I could not contact the host. A nearby neighbor helped me and got a hold of the host. Either than that, everything was perfect. Don't be like me! I recommend that you communicate with your host a day before your arrival.

We had amazing time staying at Casa San Marco.
+++ The room is big and spacious, very clean and very comfortable. Bed and pillows are great. Bathroom is big and very clean.
+++ Location is fantastic - 10 min by foot to reach the old town and enough free parking spots on the public parking nearby.
+++ Our hosts were amazing! Always extremely helpful and easy to reach. We met only Etsuko, she was super kind and we felt as if we were visiting friends! When we arrived our car had a problem and Etsuko took her time to help us find a repair shop (as we don't speak Italian) so we could fix the car for the time staying in Lucca. Without her help it would have been much more complicated - thank you again :)
We recommend everyone who plans to visit Lucca to stay at Casa San Marco!

I don't know where to even begin about this stay and the friendly angel that is Etsuko! The neighberhood is very safe and across a school, very close to the city centre. My welcome was very nice and i was explained everything. I even got a bike for two days! Eventhough i stayed only one night. The room is clean & tidy. Everything you need and more. If you're in Lucca, you absolutely have to stay at Casa San Marco!
That i couldnt stay longer! Defintely book a minimum stay of 2 nights.

A great place to explore the beautiful city of Lucca. Etsuko is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. The location is great.
