Although I booked a 5 night stay at Hotel Adlon, I never stayed at this location because it was closed. After arriving at the Hotel Adlon on the 9th of January 2024 at 2:30 in the afternoon local time I noticed the entire hotel was shutdown.
After ringing the doorbell, the janitor informed us that the hotel was closed for the winter season and we should move down the street to Hotel Villa Sorriso. No one had informed us of this. Without any choice we ended sojourning in a lower rated hotel

Very comfortable and clean. Great view of the beach. The heating works well and so does the hot water. Close to stores, restaurants and other amenities.
The breakfast was a bit expensive at 15 euro per person given that it was a standard breakfast.
