The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. It was close to the airport.
We feel the room was not represented as shown in the photo. We upgraded our room, and the photo showed a sofa. When we got there, it was a twin sized bed made up with a bottom sheet instead of a sofa. The upgrade to have a sofa to sit on was useless. It was uncomfortable to sit on with no back support. And wider than a sofa and pushed up next to the queen size bed with little room to maneuver around the room. There was only a very small size ottoman to sit on besides the bed...that's why we upgraded in the first place. When we asked about changing rooms they said they were all booked up.
Also, the room was represented as being soundproof. This is not true, and it's a misrepresentation. We could hear traffic the whole time day or night, and at 1:30 a.m., we were awoken by people talking and laughing loudly in the hallway. Not soundproof at all.
We had no remote control for the TV. We asked the front desk in person, and Franco said he would bring one up. After waiting 30 minutes, he never came up and I went back downstairs to get one. Shamira asked if I didn't have one. I said no and that I had looked everywhere to find it and told her she's welcome to come look. She reached under the desk and pulled one out. I don't understand why Franco hadn't done the same thing. Obviously, I didn't have one. Why would I be asking for one if I had one.
We asked if we could book a cab for 7:30 the next morning. We were told it wasn't necessary as there would be plenty of cabs available. We told Franco we would like to book one anyway. We were on our way out, and he said to stop by on our way back.
He was busy when we got back, so when I went to get the remote, I asked Shamira if she could book one. She said it wasn't necessary. I said okay if you don't want to book one sorry I bothered you. She responded that it wasn't necessary at that time and that it would be a waste of time.

Easy to find, staff was very helpful and nice
The food selection in the restaurant was terrible. Needs to be revamped and a better job of making sure you have the ingredients on hand

The close proximity to the airport was very nice and the staff was helpful and assisted us by booking our airport taxi and giving us directions on the easiest and most efficient way to get into Florence.
The room had an air conditioner but the room remained quite warm throughout our stay.

Disappointing
I found the staff a little cold towards me, I arrived at midnight and I was made to pay for my room before I even saw it? I found this rude.
The bedding was clean but the breakfast was in a dungeon/basement and below ordinary. The coffee was bad for Italy Im shocked and i would not stay here again.
