Very convenient to downtown. They had a shuttle, which made it easy. The restaurant and all staff were terrific. All were responsive. The rooms are clean. There were no worries It’s a good property and I would recommend it
Directly across the river, there’s a nightclub so you could actually enjoy the music even though it went onto later hours, but it wasn’t really a problem. There’s also a steel girder construction site next to it and so during the day you could hear banging on the steel but again What the heck it’s not the end of the world it’s very comfortable and it’s out of the hustle and bustle of the city.

We had a 7-night stay at Villa Sul'Arno and overall had a wonderful experience. Initially, we faced an issue with the room setup as it only had a high spa bath (no separate bathroom), which was difficult to manage with a knee injury. Lorenzo at reception was incredibly helpful in moving us to a more suitable room with a walk-in shower, and we really appreciated his support and excellent customer service.
All staff—from reception, housekeeping, restaurant, bar, to the shuttle driver Aziz—were fantastic. Aziz, in particular, was very polite and a true asset to the hotel.
The only negative experience was with Francesco, the restaurant manager, who spoke to us in an unprofessional tone on two occasions, which we reported. Thankfully, the hotel manager addressed the issue promptly and offered us complimentary drinks as a gesture, which helped smooth things over.
The hotel was very clean, and we appreciated the complimentary water provided daily. A small suggestion for improvement: adding a sink in room with the toilet for hygiene purposes would be helpful, instead of having to use bidet.
Overall, a great hotel with excellent service and a caring team.

It’s a beautiful and peaceful property. The quality of the services, including the food and spa are exceptional.
There is currently a lot of civil construction projects occurring around the hotel, which of course is not the hotels fault but is certainly a current negative. Secondly, it is a good distance from most of the attractions in historic Florence so we had to use Taxi or UBER more than expected.

I highly recommend! From the moment we walked in. Beautiful property. Special touches everywhere. Everyone who worked there was so nice and helpful and pleasant. Shout out to Nicoli, Jonas, Luca and Claudia. Food was fabulous
Spa was wonderful and so were the treatments. We took a cooking class and had whatt we made for dinner! Flowers around the property were beautiful.

Chose this hotel for its rural Tuscan feel but still accessible to the city and that’s what it gave! We didn’t use the free shuttle and chose to walk downtown along the Arno river, instead. We loved the pool, spa, and highly recommend the breakfast. Best way to relax while still being able to see Florence!
Unfortunately, the first night our rooms AC broke but luckily the hotel switched us to a new room the next day.

Beautifully presented hotel with immaculate grounds. Lovely Spa which, with the benefit of the booking system, was never over-busy. Breakfast was excellent and most of the staff were very friendly and attentive. A very thoughtful welcome with a cake and candle made us feel very considered. One of the best city hotels I’ve visited. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation (….although maybe after the bridge construction is completed).
Restaurant is expensive for what it is and not huge amounts of choice within easy walking distance.

Beautiful hotel, spacious and well designed rooms. Wonderful staff who were very helpful. The location is out of town, but the free shuttle service was a great help.
The hotel is based outside of the main town area so when the shuttle wasn’t available we spent quite a bit on taxis.
