Pool was not too big, but very, very nice. Breakfast very tasty
The gym was very small, with only a treadmill, another cardio machine, and a bench with dumbbells. Water running from the shower in to the room, because the doors could not be closed completly

I didn’t stay I checked in and checked out within 1 hr. I liked when I was checking out the staff member David was very positive about getting situation refunded and apologized. However end result one day refunded and the rest I still needed to pay even though I did not use one thing of the facilities or even sit in a chair for that matter.
On 28 June, I travelled from Rome and arrived at the hotel at approximately 5:00 p.m. I selected this property because it was advertised as a five-star hotel, carried a review score of over 9/10, and was classified by Booking.com as “Wonderful.” Based on the listing, photographs, and consistently positive reviews, I expected accommodation that reflected the standards associated with a luxury five-star property.
Unfortunately, the hotel fell significantly short of those expectations.
From the moment I arrived, the experience was disappointing. There was no welcome or assistance on arrival, and the immediate surroundings of the hotel were not consistent with the impression created by the listing. The area overlooked ageing residential buildings, construction works, and an unattractive riverside embankment, creating an environment that was far removed from what I expected when booking a luxury hotel.
Inside the hotel, I was greeted by a receptionist who was neither welcoming nor particularly professional. Concerned that I may have arrived at the wrong property, I asked the receptionist to confirm the hotel’s official rating. She confirmed that it was a five-star hotel.
However, the condition of the property did not support this classification. The public areas appeared dated, lacked cleanliness, and had an unpleasant odour. Our room was dusty, poorly presented, and overlooked construction works and neglected apartment buildings. The overall standard of maintenance and presentation was substantially below what was advertised on Booking.com.
We also inspected the spa facilities, hoping they would reflect the advertised quality of the hotel. Unfortunately, the spa also had an unpleasant smell and did not appear clean or inviting. It was not a facility that I felt comfortable using.

Exceptional service, amenities and location - close enough to get to Central Florence within a 25 min walk, or you can take the shuttle or use the hotel’s bikes. We loved the pool and the quiet neighbourhood as central Florence in peak summer is way too crowded for my liking.
The spa and hydrothermal pool / sauna / cold room are another lovely bonus for those who want to relax.

The location outside the tourist hub. Loved the access to spa facilities. Restaurant food available all day. Staff were generally helpful.
Being told I needed a reservation then immediately sent to an available table and there were several tables. Adrian was a too literal in his interpretation of the rules.

The “fitness center.” Teeny room with 1 treadmill (needs to be upgraded), 1 elliptical, and some weights. Very limited space to do weights. Room was kept at 24.7 Celsius and staff said it couldn’t go lower.

This was a beautiful property and we loved all the little touches and amenities. The shuttle saved us a ton of money that we would have spent going back and forth into the city center. We loved how spacious the room was and all the extra counter space and space for clothes and luggage! Communication was quick and easy via WhatsApp! Would highly recommend.

The history and the facilities and the outside look.
The cleaning and the service staff feels like they are forced to help around or clean the room. However, the waiters were nice and good in the restaurant.
Be ware of the charge on exit as they put a tip of more than 90 euros on the tap without telling you until you catch it and adjust/remove it yourself.

We stayed for three nights with our family and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made traveling with family so much easier.
The breakfast was excellent every morning with plenty of options, and the staff truly stood out — super helpful, professional, and always kind. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
One of the highlights was the wellness area. The heated pool, sauna, steam room, and gym were all fantastic and very well kept. It was the perfect way to relax after long days out.
Overall, a great stay and a place we would happily return to. Highly recommended, especially for families looking for comfort and quality service.
