rooms were on roof top terrace - not in the main building. rooms had steep winding narrow staircase to upper room where the bed was. room and toilet on 2 separate floors.
did not inform us that rooms were on the roof - amd that bathroom and bedroom are on separate floor separated by narrow and steep winding staircase. if u need to go toilet at night - very dangerous. rooms were not 4 star.

The location and view and the villa is furnished beautifully. The staff was very nice.
There is much construction underway with pool and the grounds were in disarray. The breakfast was minimal.

It is a beautiful location in a quiet setting however at least 20 minutes to Florence and taking cabs becomes expensive if you want to spend any time sightseeing. Having a shuttle to take guests to Florence would be a great benefit. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the restaurant was outstanding - one of the best we had our whole trip. Staff were all pleasant and helpful, especially setting up cabs.
Having to take cabs everywhere. Round trip to Florence and back cost €85.

Lovely place on the top of a hill looking over Florence. Staff amazing and very accommodating making sure we had a taxi at 5am for the airport. Everything is luxurious. Restaurant was one of the best meals we had in Italy.
This isn’t walkable to Florence. We took a taxi in and back. This a destination on its own!

Stunning villa. Private and comfortable. Beautiful and luxurious decor. Amazing views. We attended a wedding at the venue which was a dream. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was also top class. We wish we had stayed longer

The view is fantastic.
The heating was very loud and it was not started before our arrival. On the 8th of December the rooms were very could when we arrived, and it took a while till it got warm. Then we had twh choise, either warm and loud, or quite and cold.
