My stay at Villa Cora presented a mixed experience. The most striking positive aspect of the hotel is undoubtedly its appearance. The ambiance is truly phenomenal; the hotel lobby is magnificent, as are all the accommodations. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, living up to the hotel's luxurious image.
A particular highlight was the breakfast experience. The service during breakfast was sensational, and the food was very good, which certainly impressed me in a positive way.
However, the experience was slightly marred by the check-in process. The staff member seemed rushed and a bit rude toward my family and me. This was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber, where an impeccable level of service is expected, which unfortunately wasn't delivered on this occasion.
Another minor point of concern is the hotel's location. It is quite a distance from the main points of interest in the city, requiring a walk of approximately 30 minutes to reach them.
Overall, a beautiful hotel with great accommodations, but with some service and location aspects that could be improved.

Amazing hotel in a great location, just a short walk to the centre of Florence. Some of the best hotel staff we have ever come across, from the restaurant to the reception to the pool, the service was immaculate.
The room was spacious, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t want to leave!

Incredibly beautiful building and interiors.
The pool was heated and although not warm, it did take the edge off.
Food and service incredible.
Breakfast not massive but so well presented and thought out.
Rooms adequate and well appointed. Although our room did have a bath shower which was quite impractical and storage in the bathroom for toiletry bags etc was limited.
Complimentary shuttle to and from Florence and location to Florence. Just 10 mins away. Taxi will cost £20
I think we went high season (September) so our smaller room was £800 a night and this isn’t even including breakfast which came to around £100 per day. So very very expensive for what you got. I feel like breakfast should be included for that kind of price tag. Even the best hotels in Dubai include breakfast.
No steamer or iron in the room. They said for fire risk but I feel this is just an excuse. I was trying to decrease my clothes with a hairdryer which is far more dangerous!!

The hotel and gardens are beautiful and the location, in the leafy southern suburbs about half an hour walk from the city centre, was idyllic.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt that for such a prestige property certain areas could and should be improved upon. Our rooms were smaller than we expected. Tea and coffee facilities were basic (we expected a Nespresso machine at the very least) and not enough complimentary water was provided in the rooms (just one carton each at turndown). Breakfast was a little underwhelming and, at €40pp for the buffet, not good value for money. Bar and pool service was at times quite slow.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The gardens and pool area are lovely and the architecture is stunning. The beds are very comfortable and the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. Food and drink was excellent by the pool. We didn't eat in the main restaurant during our stay but the recommendations for restaurants in Florence that we were given by the hotel were superb.
