The location is very convenient, only two blocks from the Duomo and around the corner from a wonderful resaurant - Osteria Zio Gigi. The entrance to building where the B&B is located is nondescript so it took a few minutes to figure out which door led to the B&B.
The room and the common areas are VERY clean and well maintained. The breakfast was an assortment of breads, fruit, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, coffees, and sweet pastries, most of which are home made by the host and very tasty.
the host can be helpful and friendly. If you need help finding wine tours he can save you some money.
It can get hot in the room but the AC is helpful. It would be nice to have screens on the windows to open them and get a breeze but there are a lot of mosquitos.

Location was perfect, check-in was very smooth. Andrea was so accommodating. We thought it was particularly special that he would bake the breakfast himself and give us extra bags of biscotti and homemade tiramisu to take with us. Having a local to offer recommendations on shopping and sightseeing made for a perfect stay.

The property is in the perfect location for museums, restaurants, Duomo and shopping.
The rooms are beautiful, large, clean, air conditioned and sound proofed. Breakfast is awesome, including fresh pastries, eggs, ham, cheese and great coffee.
As important, Andreas is the perfect host! As is Lola, his dog?. He’s so helpful with dinner reservations, taxis, advice of where to go, etc. very nice man. His mother was there as well - she is an amazing cook and so nice. Also, eat at Zio Gigi. Andreas will make reservations.
This was our second time we’ve stayed there and we will absolutely come back again. Feels like home away from home. One of the best places we’ve stayed anywhere in the world. Highly recommend.

The property was quiet, updated, very comfortable and very clean. The bed was large and comfortable to sleep on. Large walk in shower. The breakfast offerings every morning were very much appreciated and the dining area had a good atmosphere. The property owners/managers were very friendly and helpful

A Florentine gem combining original architectural details with modern amenities. Spacious bedrooms, clean and modern bathrooms, spotlessly clean, superb location. The host and owner, Andrea, is very personable and amusing; he gives the place a lot of character. He always wanted to insure our comfort and made dinner reservations and gave us a lot of great info about places to visit.
Could have used more shelves or drawers to put clothes. That’s a minor detail compared to how wonderful the place is.

The location was central to all sights, within walking distance of main attractions. The host is very receptive to guest needs. Very knowledgable and accurate regarding restaurants. The breakfast is outstanding, homemade pastry was a great touch. The room was large and extremely clean. Although the view was of an emergency room it was quiet. Blackout drapes available for sleeping comfort. There was an elevator to take up the heavy suitcases.
Although the room is large and the furniture is attractive, there is no real usable storage. The wardrobe was a nice touch to hang things, there was no surface to place the open suitcase except on the floor, this is very inconvenient especially for the older generation that repeated bending is an unwelcome exercise. Poor space to place necessary items in the room as well as in the bathroom. Although our host took his time to explain the bathroom faucet situation, taking a shower was an exercise in futility, almost impossible to conquer. The wash cloths were the size of hand towels.

The location was great, just one block from the Duomo. Breakfast featured a wide variety of foods including home made pastries which were delightful. The host was exceptionally attentive and even shared his dog with my wife (who was missing her own puppies). It's a very nice B&B.

Breakfast was adequate. Fresh fruit or fresh pastries would be great. The pastries were pre packaged. Boiled eggs and cereal was a nice touch as was the fresh tart baked by Andreas from his mom’s recipe.
