"Honestly, everything about our 2-night stay here was an absolute 10/10. First off, the location is unbeatable—you are right in the middle of everything, just a quick walk to the Duomo and the train station, which made exploring Florence so easy. The building itself has so much history and character, and our room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable.What really made the trip, though, was the staff. They were so incredibly welcoming and genuinely helpful from the moment we walked in. If you're looking for a perfect place to stay in Florence, this is it.

This hotel is a very old and historic building in the middle of the action in Florence and very close to the Duomo. Our room was small and relatively spare - nothing fancy - but very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was attentive and kind. We had an electrical issue in the first room we were assigned and they could not have been nicer about moving us and providing a voucher for a lovely breakfast for us and our family for our trouble. It was a generous and much appreciated gift. We stayed on the third floor, which has a great balcony in the back of the hotel, which provided a nice and shady place to sit and relax late in the day.

Room was large, clean, good A/C, quiet, perfect for families! Great location, walkable to all sites. Reception was super friendly and very helpful with our late check in.

Great location near lots of sites. The AC worked very well especially for 90-100 degree days. View of the piazza di San Lorenzo out room window was beautiful, and could see Brunelleschi's dome from the shared third floor balcony. Library bar was cool too
Tile floors were a bit uncomfortable especially when cold

Staff is excellent, super friendly. Location is great, right in heart of Florence. Breakfast is okay.
Our room faced the street and the street noise goes until late in the night. Street is very touristy and there are many shops in both sides of the street. Bedrooms have the barely minimum - not charming or recently renovated.

Highlights were the central location, the DaVinci history and the friendly staff as well as a peek of the top of the duomo from the outdoor common balcony
I wanted to like this place more but it missed the mark for me. It was a little bit on the tired side and the rugs and floors didn't seem clean. The A/C had a hard time keeping up with the vaulted ceiling in the family suite we were in. The price was very expensive for what it was....something that looked more like a (very quiet) youth hostel to me. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

It was very nice and clean, with great air conditioning! It was a great to escape the heat of the day from time to time. There was breakfast included and a bar that we unfortunately didn’t make it to. It was just a couple blocks from the Duomo and a Wine Window!
