The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to the city center, which made getting around Florence very convenient. There is also a very good pizzeria nearby, which was a nice bonus. The hotel itself has a charming old-style Italian feel with an interesting and authentic look, and the classic Italian balcony added extra character to the stay and made the experience feel more local and unique.
The room was quite cold, which made the stay uncomfortable. When we turned on the air conditioner and the hair dryer at the same time, the electricity in the room went out, which caused a lot of inconvenience.
At that moment, there was no one at the reception, so we couldn’t get immediate help. It took about one hour for them to see our message and resolve the issue.
Once the problem was fixed, everything worked fine, but the lack of prompt assistance and the electricity issue significantly affected our experience.

Location.
Needs renovation very much, bad smell, squeaky bed, noisy street, feels like dirty due to old fashion furniture. In booking.com pictures room looks way better.

It is actually someone's house and not a proper hotel, so there was no breakfast. Staff was also mostly missing although they were present during check-in and check-out and were very pleasant.

Room was comfortable. Marina was great and responded promptly to our queries. Location was good with public transport nearby or a 15 minute walk to the station and the historic centre.
No elevator.
