Disappointing
The property was near the train station.
I should have noticed the previous reviews. The room was extremely hot, and the air conditioning did not work properly, which made it very difficult to sleep. The bed was also quite hard. The shower was super small, and I’m average lean.
I specifically chose a room with a patio, but unfortunately, I couldn’t use it—it was too hot during the day and had no lighting at night. The cups in the room also were not properly washed or rinsed after previous use.
Also concerning, was a mirror that appeared to be hanging from a very small nail and did not feel securely mounted. Thankfully, I noticed it before anything happened and notified management.
Overall, the room needed better maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to guest comfort and safety.

Ideal location for train journeys incl day trip to Siena.
2 mins from main food market and the breakfast cafe (which is lovely), only a further 10 minutes to central sites.
Very clean facilities and friendly staff.
Noise from road (we knew that when booking but be aware)

Location is super central. Check in was smooth and we got unlimited complimentary water, which was a nice gesture.
A faint musky smell is prominent throughout the property. I assume this is to be expected in older buildings. All in all it was okay.

Really good location and management.

The location, the rooms, the staff are all incredible. The hotel is very clean and well maintained and I absolutely love the manager!
My only complaint is the shower. It’s extremely small and I barely fit in there. That’s literally My only problem with my stay.

Staff were kind and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious.
The room was on a very busy street and the street and AC were loud. We were grateful that the hotel provided ear plugs in order to sleep.
