We visited the hotel in the end of May 2026 and stayed in a Deluxe Double room and loved it. The room is very spacious, beautifully decorated and equipped, a very comfortable, large bed, and a working A/C. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the old town close to all the main attractions, yet quiet enough to relax. Breakfast is served as a buffet in the common area, which is also beautifully decorated and very cozy. The breakfast was delicious, the waiter very friendly and attentive and we got everything we needed. But the best part was the receptionist (Alessandra), she was amazing! We felt very welcome, received good tips and advice, help booking restaurants and just a very friendly aura from her. Lastly, we traveled as a gay couple in our early 30s and felt safe, welcome and had a great time.

Prime location, literally in the city centre. You can easily walk all florence landmarks.
Rooms are newly renovated and comfy.
Excellent room service.
Air conditioned which is a very big bonus during hot weather .
Breakfast needs improvement, but fair for the current price.
A bit pricey, but this the average for upper ranked 4 stars hotel in the heart of florence.
You need to climb few steps to the reception, it was ok with me and my young family, but may not suit elderly people or people with disability.

pretty basic hotel but very nice stay. loud outside from street noise. cross walk sign makes a loud beeping noise that gets quite annoying if you want to have windows open
