The staff at this hotel is exceptional. George and Angelo really were amazing and did everything they could to offer hospitality and assistance.
The hotel is in the most perfect place in all of Florence. It is in a historic space that makes you feel the charm of this ancient city…. However with that comes a trade off: musty, very loud as it is above a restaurant that until 3 am each night there were employees dumping garbage, yelling, fighting, smoking, etc. my room overlooked the garbage alley and I got very little sleep until those people closed for the night. The noise was unbelievable. My room had a very musty smell that stayed in all of my clothing.

This is a gem of a property with a great location in Florence. It feels like you are entering someone's home. The room was large and lovely. The breakfast was extraordinary and Sebastien was a wonderful host. We did the cooking class with him that included a trip to the market and tasting of cheeses and charcuterie. It was truly an excellent experience.

The staff was delightful and very accommodating. The location was perfect- we could come back to the hotel to cool off and take a break. The place was spotless. Just delightful.
It would have been helpful if we were given instructions on how to operate the television.

It felt like it was in the heart of everything so I never had to travel very far to experience everything.
The WiFi was honestly the biggest issue I had. It would completely cut out throughout the day but I also know that there’s probably a lot of people around so that probably slowed it up. It was manageable but a minor annoyance

From the moment you enter the property you're greeted with the most amazing scent. The sensory experience continued with a lovely Florentine room, and a morning plated breakfast served by staff. There's a DIY bar with water, juices and sodas, and liquor to DIY your own mixed drinks. The bathroom was fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion infused with property's signature scent. The Residenza D'Epoca evoked the whole sensory experience that is Florence.
Florence is very crowded and traffic is crazy. Fortunately, the hotel is a respite from all of that.
