Great location. Right in the corner of one of the main squares in Florence. Sebastian and the entire staff are there to help with recommendations and advice. They recommended a great restaurant that specialized in Steak Florentine. Amazing self serve bar for cocktails/drinks. Dining room is straight out of the Renaissance. My son and I had such a great stay there.

I discovered a true gem in the heart of Florence. It felt like staying in a home with a bed and breakfast feel palazzo-style. The staff were so wonderful, the amenities were great, the breakfast was delicious and made to order. Just absolutely a great experience. I will stay in this property always if I return to Florence and will recommend it to family and friends. Warm thanks to all the members of the staff!

Room was charming with plenty of space for belongings, which is not always the case in older European hotels. Location couldn't be better. Proprietors and staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had sufficient variety. Staff helped with baggage, which was necessary because elevator cannot easily accommodate it.
We liked everything, but prospective guests should be aware there are several initial steps, and the elevator accommodates two people with some difficulty.

The location could not have been better. It is right on one of the primary Piazzas of Florence and just on the other side of the Piazza is the Museo d’Ufficci. The hotel is run by the family that owns the residence. They are very attentive. I recommend it highly, very highly.

The room, location, and breakfast were top notch. The coordination with the parking garage was great too.
The pillows (in much of Italy it seems) are hard as rocks.

The location was fabulous, on the same plaza as Palazzo Vecchio with the Uffizi just around the corner. I appreciated the key card for the exterior door so it felt very safe. The staff were marvelous: attentive, friendly, helpful. Wonderful breakfast with candlelight and windows onto the piazza. My room had old frescoes and a spacious yet comfortable feeling. I would happily return. It was a splurge for me but well worth it.

Stairs with no handrails had to be navigated carefully by one of us who has balance issues.

It felt like it was in the heart of everything so I never had to travel very far to experience everything.
The WiFi was honestly the biggest issue I had. It would completely cut out throughout the day but I also know that there’s probably a lot of people around so that probably slowed it up. It was manageable but a minor annoyance

Disappointing
The staff at this hotel is exceptional. George and Angelo really were amazing and did everything they could to offer hospitality and assistance.
The hotel is in the most perfect place in all of Florence. It is in a historic space that makes you feel the charm of this ancient city…. However with that comes a trade off: musty, very loud as it is above a restaurant that until 3 am each night there were employees dumping garbage, yelling, fighting, smoking, etc. my room overlooked the garbage alley and I got very little sleep until those people closed for the night. The noise was unbelievable. My room had a very musty smell that stayed in all of my clothing.
