The hotel overlooks Piazza dei Signori and is in the heart of the city with easy walking distance to all sights. The room was fantastic--very spacious and clean. The hotel staff was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will certainly book this hotel when returning to Florence.

The view and location was amazing! The staff was helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The apartment was well stocked with what we might need during our stay-cups, wine glasses, coffee & espresso machines and cooking ware. The beds were also quite comfortable.
I can't think of anything that didn't meet our needs. The only issue was that the desk kindly arranged transportation to the airport for our departure and the taxi never arrived at 4 am for pick up. We were able to flag down another taxi to take us though. That was not the fault of the staff, clearly it was an issue with the taxi company.

Location, Location, Location. The staff was amazing, great communication. 2 minute walk to the Uffizi, great restaurants on the Piazza della Signoria (the property sits right on the square), literally minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio, Basilica di Santa Croce Firenze, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and our personal favorite...Fontana del Porcellino.
I wish I would have paid more for a square view room. That was my choice though.

Location was excellent, it's right next to the main attractions, can walk to most of them within 5-10 mins. Many restaurants around the hotel. The property is within 20 mins walk from the train station. The water pressure was good.
The property was hard to find. It's on a street directly connecting to a plaza, so there are (2) #3 right next to each other (one was xx plaza 3, and the other is xx street 3, very confusing). The access code showed on the front door was different than the actual access code, the hotel didn't provide any instruction on how to locate them. The contact number was not reachable. Hotel didn't provide whatsapp contact either. Room was clean, but had a strong sewer smell, we had to leave the window open all night. There was no extra power outlet for charging our phones, had to unplug table lamps to do so. The water balancing valve seems to have issues, the water was either super hot or too cold.

This room is in an excellent location in Florence. As soon as you step out the door you are in Piazza della Signoria, which makes it worthwhile in the end. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful, and let us leave our bags in their storage room on our last day after we checked out, until it was time for us to head back to the train station.
The room was ok, but you are definitely paying for the location over comfort. The elevator is tiny and slow, and the bed was a little too firm for our liking. Overall it was clean enough and for the location, it was still worthwhile, but if I could find a better room in this location next time, I would probably take it over this one.

What a great location and very spacious and clean. The hosts were extremely helpful and gave us a welcoming bottle of champagne. We were within walking distance to the train station and any shop or restaurant you could want. You walk right out to an awesome square that is right next to the Ufizzi gallery and the water. The room was so quiet. We didn’t hear a thing at night. The only con was the bed not being as comfortable as we would of liked but that seems to be all of Europe. Would definitely recommend. Has elevators but no laundry. Great place. Would stay there again.

Fantastic all around - the communication in English and also German by the manager was fantastic! Great view direct to the main piazza. Ask for the top floor suite ! Amazing impressions of the entire city - we wished it would have been available!!!

It is in the best location and the staff were amazing i would stay here again.

We were in room 201. There were two windows that fully opened. You could lean out and look left to see the Palazzo Vecchio in its entirety. It was fun to watch the people in the piazza without having to get involved in the crowds. Rivoire was across the street. We had lovely pistaccio cream filled cornetti with caffé each morning standing at the bar tables. Saves you a ton over the sit down meals. Returned on several evenings, even when not staying at RPS because it was so lovely. It’s Italy so small elevators. If you are claustrophobic, the stairs are sturdy and wide. I loved having a key code to get in the building. Made it so easy to get in. The “check in” area is up a flight of stairs but there is a lot of signage and the office is well marked. They stored our luggage with no issue until the room was ready so we could go explore. The AC in the room worked well, but we were there during a quick cold spell and there didn’t seem to be a “heat” function. I didn’t ask about it tho. We were only in the room to shower and sleep. It’s a perfect location for a base to exploring the city. Everything is within walking distance. Bring good walking shoes. Don’t rent a car until you leave the city for the country. You don’t need it. Download appTaxi for quick and easy taxi reservations, but make them a day in advance if you really need to be somewhere. Uber is three times the price. No thanks. Out of the 5 places we stayed on our trip, Relais Piazza Signoria was the best location- just perfect for exploring. Bring a sleep mask and earplugs tho. The windows block out sound, but you can’t avoid the bells and sirens. :) Thank you for a great stay, RPS!! (Sorry, I forgot to take photos of the room when we arrived so they were taken on the morning we left. :) )

The room was spacious and comfortable. Our room was at the back of the building so very quiet.
Walk out the front door and you are in the Piazza, everything you want to see do within easy walking.
Plenty of restaurants and cafes a short walk away.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
