The hotel is close to one of the train stations. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. They have an amazing space outdoors for breakfast, drinks or just to relax. I positively surprised.

The location is close to the train station. The staff were friendly when I did the check out. The price was reasonable. I rented a bedroom & bathroom for myself. It was very clean and the sheets and towels very clean too.

Having to use your keycard to provide electricity for the room.... this was mildly annoying
No cooking facilities in the common room.... this was mildly annoying
Being asked to use the common room instead of the main dining area when using my laptop.... and no one was in there
I though the meal I had in the restaurant was pretty average and the staff in the restaurant were not overly friendly
Most of the promoted social events were non existent.... a disappointment for my 18 year old son
Bar drinks too expensive for budget travellers.... probably why the above point exists

4x Dorm Room Pros:
- Built in shelf with railing for each bunk. More space than the typical side table
- Individual, tall lockers with two shelves and hangers. Comfortably fit all my stuff.
- Shower was clean and good water pressure.
4x Dorm Room Cons:
- All the beds squeaked loudly with the slightest movement. Even with my noise cancelling headphones it was still distracting, cause in addition to the noise, the beds moved with the slightest movement.
- No ventilation! We had two very large windows (one in the room and bathroom), but since we are on the ground floor we couldn’t leave them open because 1) it had direct street access/open to the public; and 2) it had no screen to keep out bugs.
- The so called radiator/AC machine clearly had not been cleaned for a while. So this in combination with the lack of window functionality left the room feeling completely musty and truly smelling bad. I tried to air it out by opening the windows but as stated before it was not a long term solution. I could not imagine staying here in the summer.

This place is awesome. Location is excellent, only 14 minute walk from Florence’s Santa Maria Novella train station, and 15 minutes to Florence’s central area. Amenities are great at this hostel: free towels, large lockers, terraces, porches, a restaurant, a courtyard, and a pool!
If the beds had curtains for privacy it would be perfect

It is very clean and looks more like a hotel than a hostel which I love about it. The rooftop also provides great views of the city and you can go around the best places easily.
The staff are not that friendly and accommodating. There was one time they deactivated my key to the room so i was not able to get in and when i asked them to checked they didn’t even apologise for the inconvenience.

The well organised hostels have ever been. Bathroom inside the room, clean, toiletries and towels. I felt also the roommate were soo great and mindful. Was in a mixed room and it felt as comfortable as single gender. All camera surveillance which makes it soo safe. Swimming pool and kitchen
The room lacks good ventilation. It can get soo stuffy and smelly from being more than 3-4 persons in a small squared place. I got a bad headache later since the oxygen was not well flowing. Reception couches are too torn and old.

The hostel is very close to all the tourist attractions. We stayed in a private room with our own bathroom and toilet, they cleaned every day and changed the towels. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

staff was nice, they gave a bottom bed as I asked. didn’t get to enjoy the pool and sauna cause I got late but there was a nice party downstairs in the evening.
