The room was facing the river, had a beautiful view. The place has a nice feel. The hidden little room with a single bed was a surprise. The location is so close to the bridge, shopping, restuarants. The staff were friendly and helpful, they let us leave our luggage for a couple of days after we checked out as we had to go to Pisa and come back to Florence. The terrace had a view of whole city.
The shower would spill water everywhere, it was annoying. They took a whole day to replace a kettle that did not work.

Location, and quality of the hotel and its services
The suite has too many beds for what we need. The Suite advertised as a king bed and sofa in the living area. But we did not get what is advertised.

The History of the Hotel and the roof view was the best!!
For the price, the room was very small and had no view. Room service, I had to ask twice. And breakfast was not included in the charge. BUT MY FRIENDS GOT BREAKFAST INCLUDED. When I asked if they could change it, they did not! That was enough to make me not be happy with my stay!!!

Loved the 2 storey family rooms which were very practically set out. Location is fantastic, walking distance to all the major attractions. Rooftop bar has amazing views and a very relaxed vibe around the pool for sunset drinks. Breakfast had good quality, varied options. Staff were mostly very helpful. We would absolutely return.
One member of staff was particularly unhelpful (repeatedly) at breakfast. To the extent that on day 3 we stopped going there, as she was so unwelcoming. The other breakfast staff were wonderful.

View, staff, rooftop area.
Not a fan of requesting a large bed (queen or king) and it being just two twin beds with king sheets on them. Both of us kept slipping in the middle because they were not even held together by straps so made it uncomfortable with a couple in the bed.

The rooftop view over Florence was a highlight. The pool is small, but perfect for cooling off in the afternoon and didnt feel over crowded which was nice. Short walk from main attractions and great restaurants/cafes.
The bed was very hard and the prices of drinks/food.
