Amang staff, a very warm welcome... 24/7 coffee and watwr availablr. The staff is super helpful. First day he explained it sooo well so we exactly knew what to do.
Ask to serve breakfast early today as we had an early train ... they organized it earlier for us in our room.

We LOVED the location, the staff were amazing! The room was always clean, property impeccable. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel!

The location was perfect. The staff was amazing - extremely helpful and friendly.
The only slight negative was the rooftop sitting area did not have any cover, so the sun was pretty brutal. But, it was a wonderful place to sit with coffee or glass of wine.

Very beautifully decorated hotel in a convenient location. The 500 year old building has kept its charm and the rooms and the hotel common areas were clean and tastefully renovated. The friendly staff were very professional and helpful with our first visit to Florence.
The mattress on the bed was very firm and uncomfortable for us and the terrace could do with a sprucing up. Other than that the hotel and staff were wonderful.

Great location in the middle of everything. Excellent old Florence building, with courtyard w/ frescoes, statues and fountain. The terrace off of the breakfast room was relaxing in the afternoons and a nice place to start our days. Coffee/tea available around the clock. The property offers a personal feel. I’d definitely stay here again.
Half shower door caused the bathroom floor to get wet.

Fantastic stay! The apartment in Massa is a gem—spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need. The highlight was the owner, who was so welcoming and attentive, making the atmosphere feel relaxed and easy. Thank you for a great visit!

The location as well as the staff was really good. The Building itself beautiful.
The standard room was EXTREMELY small (ca. 12 sq.m). For two people is a no go. Maybe dirt/usage spots on the walls; small closet; tiny bathroom, which was smelly and loud. Shower had weird dark spots on the bottom.
Carpet in the corridor was smelling like wet dogs, and the hotel is trying to cover the smells with all kind of aroma sticks.

The property is in an amazing location super close to almost all of the major attractions. The staff was EXCEPTIONALLY friendly, the rooms were spotless and the hotel was quiet with no street noise.
We stayed in the most basic room because we were out most of the time and even that was lovely
The only downside is that there is very little protein at breakfast. Even the addition of a hard boiled egg would be great to even out all the sweet options

We like the location of the hotel. It is close to everything. The room was very roomy, clean, and well decorated. The breakfast was sweet and simple. We only tried it once. Glad that the building has an elevator although it is very small.
Our bathroom door didn't work the way it should be. We need to push very hard to open or close. Talked to the staff but couldn't fix until we left. The lightning of the room was a bit dim.

Ask for room 2. It was spectacular. Has a stairwell into your very own private tower with a 360 degree view over all of Florence, including the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Croce and beyond! Service was also very attentive. And it was pet friendly and very reasonably priced.
I just wish breakfast was served past 10 AM on weekends. But the staff was accommodating.

The location is excellent for walking to major attractions and outstanding restaurants. Wonderful old mansion with modern room facilities. Convenient light breakfast a good option. Cooperative, congenial staff.

The stairs in the room were unexpected, and the hot water was limited — once it ran out, we had to wait several hours for it to heat up again. However, the staff were excellent. After we experienced issues with the water, they kindly waived the city tax, which was a great gesture.
