The location was perfect, closed to city centre, the charm of the building itself, the room, the comfy bed and the amazing staff, who waited for our arrival, even though we were late and it was already past their working hours.

Great location. Beautiful room. We felt like we were in the less touristy part of Florence, creating a more authentic experience, yet close to everything. All the staff were extremely helpful, gracious, and accommodating to our needs.

We actually got told we would be stopping at the Palazzo Bianca Cappello , originally of Corbinelli family Palazzo Bianca Cappello - Residenza d'Epoca just prior to our visit. This was on the opposite side of the road from our original hotel. The receptionist was extremely helpful and told us we should look at the history of the house. This just added to our break and my partner loved the history of the house and was the icing on the cake for a special city break.

This place is super historical and cool, right on the top floor of an old building. The room itself is big and quiet, making it a comfortable place to relax, although the bed may be a bit too soft for some.
The shower is a standout feature, with exceptionally strong water pressure—possibly the best among all my stays in Italy. The bathroom is slightly small but functional.
The hallway leading to the room had a really strong "smelly feet" or "stinky cheese" funk going on. We actually had to spray perfume at the entrance of our room to keep the smell from drifting in. If you can handle the hallway smell, it’s a great stay.
The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station (around 18 minutes on foot), though Florence itself is not a large city and the walk is manageable.

Great location, very clean
AC was not turned on for the season yet. Room was very warm so slept with window open which made for very noisy nights and we were eaten alive by mosquitoes. Very tight space with limited in room amenities.
