I liked the hotel in terms of location and overall appearance, but the experience did not fully meet my expectations.
I paid extra for access to the spa, but we were unable to use it because a reservation had to be made in advance. This requirement was not mentioned beforehand, and the latest available time was 9:00 PM.
I also paid for breakfast, but we could not enjoy it because it only started at 8:00 AM, while in most places breakfast is available as early as 6:00 AM.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Very clean and well decorated throughout. Very pleasant surroundings - garden area and interior lounge with books and magazines.
Felt looked after and had all amenities in the room that we could have wanted.
It is a half hour walk to the city centre but we were happy to be away from the bustling city and visit the superb local restaurants recommended by the hotel.
The spa at the property was wonderful and relaxing with exclusive use and is one of its selling points. However it wasn’t until after booking that I was informed that we could you it only once. I felt disappointed that this wasn’t clear before booking, I would certainly think it fair if it was once per day as other clientele need to use it.
Somehow someone in Indian accessed my booking details and tried to scam me.
This didn’t happen for the 2 stays in other cities or my flight, just for this hotel.

The hotel is charming. It is a lovely little villa. The staff is really attentive and kind and make you feel welcome. Great breakfast in a charming room. The decor is really nice. I loved it.

Absolutely perfect location, as it was within walking distance of the main city centre but far enough away from the crowds and loud noises.
The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of sweet and savoury, and the spa facilities were absolutely beautiful. The staff were helpful and provided me with local and authentic restaurants in the area.
I would love to stay here again when I return to Florence :)

We booked the Junior Deluxe Suite and became very disappointed when we saw the room. For that price you would expect a luxurious suite with nice interior. However the room looked more like a cheap hostel with basic Ikea furniture cramped together in a small space. The room was also dark (no natural light) and smelled like an old basement. It's insane to call that room a "Deluxe Suite".
We did find the staff nice and helpful and they offered us to switch room and have some extra spa time, however we still payed a huge overprice and wished we would have booked another hotel.
Breakfast was fine but nothing special, some basic things were missing in the rooms like for example way too few closet hangers and the air conditioner was not functioning. Also what looked like classy and beautiful parquet inside the rooms turned out to be cheap laminate flooring.
Overall this hotel is more like a three star hotel.
