The location is central to everything.
Here’s a cleaned-up version that keeps your tone and length:
The place is filthy. Carpets are stained, the curtains stink, and the bathroom smelled moldy. The room with the king and twin is deceptive. It’s actually a queen bed, and the twin bed is a chaise lounge. Both the bed and the chaise are hard. It’s like lying on the floor. The bed is sunken in the middle, giving you no back support.

Wonderful
Perfect location in Oltrarno, walk everywhere. Crazy murals on walls and ceiling, but that was part of its charm. Really helpful, courteous and kind staff, called us a cab and gave late checkout. The aircon was good but it sometimes felt stuffy, the 'manufactured air' phenomenon. Noisy in the street below on the weekends at night, didn't hear a thing with windows shut and aircon on tho.
The stuffiness of having to have windows shut and aircon on the whole time.

Our stay at Palazzo Guicciardini was wonderful! The room was absolutely beautiful, with stunning vaulted ceilings and 16th century frescos that captured the charm and elegance of historic Italy while still providing all the comfort you could want. It truly felt like staying in Italy rather than a generic hotel!
The accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, making it easy to relax after a day in the heat! A perfect blend of old world character and modern conveniences was perfectly executed.
The triple room was the perfect option for our family where our 15 year old had his own bed without a separate room fee!
Overall this was an exceptional place to stay. I would choose Palazzo Guicciardini again on any future visit to Florence and would happily recommend it to others looking for a similar experience of private old world charm!
My only suggestion would be to add a small led lighting strip or motion sensor light on the step leading to the bathroom. In the middle of the night, when the room is dark and you are in unfamiliar surroundings, the step can be difficult to see. I tripped over it a couple of times, and a simple lighting solution would make a nighttime navigation much safer!

Our host Vanessa was exceptional, she made us feel right at home the second we arrived and was very welcoming. The property and experience felt luxurious. The location was perfect and close to restaurants, bars and the shopping district. Can recommend the cafe below the accommodation.
