Stunning accommodation right in the centre of Florence located on the third floor of an historic building close to the Basilica de San Lorenzo. Our room was huge and it was very well sound proofed. The air conditioning was a great bonus as it was 33 degrees celsius oustide. The bed was really comfortable and had great pillows, needless to say we had a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom was spacious and lovely. Alessandro couldn't have been more helpful answering all our questions in perfect english. The breakfast was delicious, served to us by a lovely gentleman and the breakfast room has a gorgeous view of the beautiful Basilica de San Lorenzo.

Beautiful spacious accommodation appointed very thoughtfully. Clean, modern and in the perfect location to reach any part of the city. The host, Alessandro is welcoming and knowledgeable and a wealth of information. The piazza it’s located on is a lively hub of activity that has limited car access making it more enjoyable. Every evening there’s musicians performing and people enjoying the bistros which are all in walking distance of the B and B. Everything you need to experience the city is right there. Our room overlooked the Medici home as well as their church.

Only request would be to let guests know there is a light for the stairs in hallway. We liked taking the stairs and didn't know until last day that we could use a light to see down and up dark hallway

Loved this hotel. The staff was so nice helping us find their hotel. They were so friendly and very welcoming. Our room was really nice! The bed was super comfy. The room was big and had a windows looking out where people would play their instruments. The hotel has a great location! I highly recommend

Phenomenal location with easy walking distance from train station, just around the corner from Duomo. Our room had a view of the dome. The room was gorgeous, spacious, and quiet. Excellent breakfast that could be added on (we did this on our last day, and it was delicious).

My room and bathroom were amazing!!! Florence unfortunately was extremely packed earlier than anticipated so that was a little much for me and I couldn't leave my window open due to the noise but closing it shut it out. It was great to walk to anywhere. The bed was sooo comfortable as well as the pillows and the bathroom - WOW! It also had an AC which was a treat! There's an elevator thank goodness, no more stair climbing. The host was wonderful and held my bags at the beginning and end of my stay. The breakfast area was super cute but I didn't not join for breakfast so can't reference it but I'm sure it was great. I would absolutely stay here again!
How crowded Florence was, will come at a different time next visit.

Constanza and Alessandro were wonderful. They couldn’t have been more helpful, even working with us to schedule a wine tasting at a local wine bar. Our room was up a flight of stairs. It was spacious, filled with light when we wanted and the curtains made it dark at night. One evening noise on the piazza kept us awake. However, the windows are scheduled to be replaced this year and should solve that. The breakfast room is beautiful - all hand-painted - fitting for the delicious breakfasts served there. Our room on Piazza San Lorenzo overlooked the Medici Gardens and was minutes from the duomo and baptistery.
One noisy night but that is being addressed. A flight of stairs but we knew that when we booked. So really, everything was great.

WOW was my exclamation on arriving at this beautiful hotel.
Firstly, location is easy to get to from the main train station (albeit through throngs of tourists and over some pretty rough surfaces). Only 10 min walk. The hotel overlooks Basilica di San Lorenzo and is in a beautiful building on the fourth floor.
Communication with Costanza was amazing and my room was ready upon my arrival (before the official check in time). I had also been assured I could leave my bags if the room was not ready. She was warm and welcoming and lovely throughout my stay.
And then the room - wow. It was absolutely beautiful. Friezes on the ceiling, large and spacious, comfortable large bed, room overlooking the square (I could also see the Duomo dome), beautifully appointed bathroom. The room was very quiet and simply gorgeous.
Breakfast is served in another lovely room overlooking the square - you select your choices on a card and it is made to order by a lovely gentleman (who is also a great cook!).
The location is fantastic for exploring Florence - very central, easy to navigate, walkable to all sites.
No facilities per se. But you're not in Florence for facilities rather to explore this beautiful city which is literally out the window and on the doorstep!

The property was a small boutique hotel on the third floor of a building (with an elevator). It was a short walk (~10 min) from the train station. The area could be a little noisy at night with windows open (no AC available yet), but quiet with them closed. My room was very spacious with a table/chairs and couch in addition to king bed. The bathroom was roomy and clean. The shower was small with excellent hot water supply and good water pressure. The location was just a short distance from the Duomo, next to a grocery store with friendly staff. It was a very comfortable stay. There was an option to add breakfast for a reasonable €15 a morning, to be pre-ordered the morning before.
Stairs quite dark—have your phone flashlight out if you use them!

Perfect locatiion, super clean, helpful staff, tasty breakfast, beautiful design/decorated and amazingly quiet for such a central location. Having previously stayed at another central location in Florence, the windows at Della Stufa did an amazing job of blocking street noise. We would definitely choose to stay there again.
It can be a little challenging to find since it is located inside an apartment building.

Wonderful location near the Basilica Santuario Santo Stefano, Piazza Maggiore and the twin towers. The property itself is on the top floor of the Casa Isolani, an old palatial building. Room was clean and the view of the towers from the room was great. Our host was very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast seems like an afterthought at a cafe down the street. Not many options for breakfast.

We were traveling for 10 days and returned to stay at this location on three separate nights. We looked forward to returning to it for the clean spacious room and very comfortable bed and the gracious hosts. The location is fantastic for exploring Florence on foot and for train travel to other locations. It was our favorite place we stayed in Italy. We would definitely stay here again!
