It is a very beautiful hotel in the centre of everything in Florence.
We booked for dinner on a busy night everywhere else and were alone in the hotel's restaurant. The food was surprisingly average and there were dishes we did not enjoy.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Shower was good too Location was within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast was good with a wide variey.
The lobby on the 5f and inside the lift has a stale smell. There were tiny jumping insects on both beds. We killed so many of them.

It is centrally located to the Central of Florence. Close to the train station. Steps away from so much amazing History, restaurants and shopping!! Everyone there was so knowledgeable of the area and history! Antoinetta was our first contact upon arrival and she was amazing. She remembered our little doggys name Whiskey and Whiskey loved her!! Everyone that we talked to was amazing!! Breakfast is Amazing!! Dont miss out!!

Overall, it was decent; the room was spacious and well-designed. The location was very central and minutes away from all the key areas. Has dual entrance from two streets which was helpful.
The shower was abysmal, and our bathroom flooded, so we had to clean it. The staff was helpful. However, they need to improve their checks, as you wouldn't expect a bathroom to have blocked drains in a 5-star hotel. Cooling wasn't up to mark, although was acceptable but could have been better.
