Lovely and generally well maintained hotel, spa was fantastic we thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Room was modern. Quite a walk into the centre of Florence but we didn’t mind this.
Nothing against the hotel at all however visitors should be warned that Italy has restrictions on air conditioning meaning (as was kindly explained by reception when I questioned the aircon not working) basically there is none allowed currently to protect the climate, which is great but it led to a very hot room.
Through opening the doors briefly to ventilate the room a mosquito must have got in and we were bitten an awful lot! Again, this is nothing against the hotel but just be warned the rooms can get very warm. Also our room (a terrace room) was under the breakfast area, so I was woken each morning very early to loud banging and chairs scraping.

The property is beautiful and the staff was all friendly! The location was good and walking distance to all the places we wanted to go. We wish we stayed longer so we could enjoy the spa as well but it looked beautiful.

Big rooms, nice rooftop terrace
Our bed was broken, the mattress had a huge hole in the middle.
Also our room was located right behind the breakfast area and we got woken up by loud table cluttering every morning at 6am.
There was also a public toilet next to our room and you could constantly hear someone blowing up the toilet.
After asking to change the room three times (but apparently the place was fully booked) we checked out early and went to another hotel.

Spacious, clean, good location, nice facilities. Lovely pool when the screaming splashing children and their parents and grandmother weren’t there.
Didn’t want to eat breakfast as it seemed to be all cakes and pastries. We would just have liked to be able to drink more coffee. Coffee was provided in the room but only one small pod for an espresso each.

The room was really confortable, with a nice bed and big space in the room as well the bathroom.
We enjoyed the view from the rooftop, and the general ambience of the hotel.
