The location was good.
The room was absolutely filthy, it was infested with mosquitoes to the point where we had to but insect repellant and put it on before bed, the walls were smeared with blood from where the mosquitoes were killed against the wall. The shower did not get above lukewarm temperature and took 10 minutes to get to that temperature. The window didn't shut properly so when we got in our room the floor had puddles of water from the rain. This place needs to be reported to authorities! Do not trust the photos, they have obviously taken photos of their premium rooms, the actual rooms are NOTHING like that. I will be seeking a full refund.

The apartment is quite spacious.. it had to big bathrooms, the rooms were so big and comfy
There was a big balcony, and kitchen
Quite satisfying
They had general use washing machines and dryers that we could use for free.
The breakfast was just a pastry and a coffee from a next door cafe..

For this prize probably the best accomodation in Florence. Very close to city center, less than 20 min walking to Santa Maria del Fiore. Big rooms, high ceilings, good breakfast in the bar next to the hotel. My only note is that it would be better to get at least 2 keys to the room, for the bigger groups. We were 7 people so 2 keys would be nice.
A little bit dark in the rooms, only small windows and covered by shades. Old AC, only on/off switch, no way to regulate temperature. It would be cool if a room for 7 people was more balanced. There was a great, comfy room for a couple and 5 other people had to sleep in 1 room.

Clean, friendly staff, facilities to hold luggage after check out, free breakfast, near many restaurants and supermarkets, near Duomo, big kitchen, enough space for 4 persons, 2 bathrooms is a plus, strong shower
No airconditioning. It's a good thing we visited in October. We had to open the windows to let the cool air in.

I had booked to stay one night at Palazzo dei Ciompi Suites. I paid in advance, however as my plans changed at very short notice, I could no longer make the reservation. Unfortunately this happened during the 48hrs cancellation period. I messaged the property 3 times to notify them of the situation and kindly ask to waive the fee, NO ANSWER. I called about 20 times between Monday 9th and Tuesday 10thNO ANSWER. I requested booking.com to get in touch with them..they tried multiple times..NO ANSWER!!! Whilst I understand I might not be entitled to a refund due to cancellation policy, you would hope for an answer by the host. Nothing..niente, nada. Ridiculous. Oh and if you want reviews of how the place actually is, just Google it or read below, not good. Save yourself time and do not book this!!
