The breakfast was the best part of this hotel. It was excellent. The staff with the exception of the front desk clerk who checked us in was friendly. The bed was very comfortable.
The room was not at all as the pictures made it seem. I was shocked and disappointed when I saw the room and sure they had made a mistake. For the price we paid, it was not worth it. The bathroom was substandard and the shower was dangerous to use - it was just a shower wand in the bathtub and it wasn't possible to let the wand spray on you while showering. And where you had to stand in the tub was precarious.

The room was absolutely gorgeous. Lush fabrics, antique pieces, comfy beds, and so clean. Somehow didn't feel dated or stuffy, just romantic. We didn't get to try the breakfast or hotel facilities much since we were staying in the second building, but the front desk was so lovely and helpful and made driving into the city and parking completely seamless for us. The location was super central, just a short walk away from all the main sights in the city. Will definitely be staying here next time we're in town!

Breakfast was very good and the staff was excellent. The property was beautiful. We wished that we could enjoy it a bit more but due to taking care of our granddaughter, it kept us from that.
Our dinner on Wed night was fabulous.

The staff was incredible! They were helpful and answered all my questions. Frank and the team at the front desk were a friendly face that effectively helped us get a bearing of Florenze, give us recommendations, and helped us with any need! Upon arrival, while we were unpacking, the staff brought us a platter of fresh fruit! Delicious! Every day when our room was cleaned, they also left us little snacks like cookies and sweets. The keys for our rooms were very big and ornate, but they gladly hold onto them while you are about in Florence and give it back to you when you return. The rooms are beautiful, and our room overlooked the Galleria dell'Academia. We could see the skylight over the David from our room and hear the church bells from our open windows every morning. It was also the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. The food was always fresh, and the bar produced some of the best espresso and cappuccinos. They also did not hesitate to refill our waters with water from the bar. Incredible service at any hour of the day.
The shower was a little weird in our room. The bathroom wasn't laid out well but totally understand as the building is an old palace. That was the only gripe we had in our stay and its almost a negligible thing. The stay was incredible.

The location was amazing. In front of a beautiful and quiet piazza (that gets busy with young people at night but didn’t bother at all, you could ent heard anything from inside) It was easy to get directly by car or taxi from the airport and next to the best street to take a first look at the duomo. The hotel it self was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, even with gluten free and vegan options. The staff was super attentive and nice to. We had to book and extra night and change rooms. They moved all our bags and where super helpful during the booking process online.
Nothing important!! but being really picky, our first bedroom (we had to change one night because of a change of plans) didn’t have proper curtains and the light would come in really early which wasn’t good for our jet lag :)

Location was very close to the duomo.
The breakfast was good.
They provided me water whenever I asked and believe me during hot weather that's needed a lot.
Very Antiquated building that's been repurposed as a hotel. Very tiny rooms. The AC isn't working. Reported but I was told they couldn't do much. The bathtub was leaking and the floor of the tub was not stable. I wouldn't come back here.

Beautiful view out of our windows. The location is excellent - close to the Duomo yet very quiet. The most comfortable bed. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone who is in love with a world of the past. The building was constructed in 1700. The interior is antique. It was a wonderful experience.
