A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Directly across the river from Piazzale Michelangelo, a short walk to Ponte Vecchio, Galleria degli Uffizi and Basillica di Santa Croce. Everything else was within a 10, 15 to 20 minute walk. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and great coffee. Room was very clean, comfy bed, lovely bathroom with a great shower, ample wardrobe and drawers. The room had a fantastic coffee machine and tea making facilities as well as a mini bar. We were also welcomed with complimentary sweet treats. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast is wonderful! The room and bathroom is small for a 5-star hotel, but it is quiet. The location is next to the river, if your room is facing the river, the view must be very good, but unfortunately I didn't get it.
The hotel location is too far from the center, every day we have to take taxi in and out, and the road to the hotel is typically jammed, so be ready to walk a lot or take taxi a lot. Also there is no shops and restaurant in the surrounding area, we always have to take a taxi to get food or get around.

Very nice location, near the historic center. Room very clean and good breakfast.
The porter (facchino) was super nice
We used the hotel laundry service, my favorite sport pants got lost in the laundry. I felt I didn’t get any empathy and didn’t even get an apology from the hotel staff, which surprised me in a 5 star hotel.
They did find my pants tho after we had checked out and I picked them up couple of days later when we were back in Florence. Just by showing you felt my pain and apologized would have changed it to a higher rating, cause mishaps can always happen and I understand that.

Everything. We didn't have any issues during our stay. This was the 2nd leg & hotel on our trip, from Rome & then to here, LHP Hotel River & Spa. The lady on reception, (whose name escapes me), was very professional, informative, friendly & very professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them to accommodate our needs. I accommodated two rooms suite for my partner & myself. The restaurant is furnished beautifully & very comfortable. The hotel is sited across the road from the river Arno which runs through the centre of Florence. The hotel is situated approximately 10-15 casual walk into the centre of Florence, where all the attractions, restaurants, gelato parlours etc, are situated. I would have scored this hotel 11/12 out of 10 if it were possible & would recommend if you want genuinely lovely welcoming people that make your stay as comfortable as possible, then this is the LHP Hotel River & Spa hotel is for you.

The Spa was not so well organized. Stuff broke down and people came in regularly to fix stuff wijle i was naked.

The location was nice.
The bellman never came to help with the luggage when we arrived. The desk person wasn't that nice. The hot tub never worked, and they said they would take money off the room. However, we never saw it come off. The restaurant is in the basement and is a little depressing.

On arrival, we were informed that our room had been upgraded. On entering our room, we were blown away! The suite was huge, had both an indoor and outdoor hot tub, a separate lounge area, a four poster bed and an outside terrace area with one of the best views I have ever seen, overlooking the river Arno.
We were so pleased with our room that we did not want to leave it and therefore ordered room service, which was also great.
We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.
The water in the outside jacuzzi did smell a bit, which made us think it may not have been treated/changed as often as it should have.
There were also quite a few wasps hovering around the outside terrace, which led us to believe there may have been a wasps nest nearby, so just be aware of this as my wife was not able to sit outside for extended periods of time.
