Location - near to most of the tourist places
The bathroom setting was not ideal and there was no exhaust, so the steam and smell stayed inside the bathroom

br4eakfast staff were lovely and very efficient hotel very clean and modern and quiet
i booked the Arno suite which Booking.com described as having 2 rooms - separate bedroom and living room. I was told at the hotel check in this was not the case and we had to stay in a `suite' which was only one small room. When i complained and showed the hotel reception Booking.com's description , they simply said that Booking.com had got it wrong. This is totally unacceptable. On top of that the hot tub /jacuzzi outside had hot water but wasn't working properly. The hotel did give me another suite for the next 2 days of my stay which was what i expected but again the hot tub outside wasn't working properly despite the maintenance person trying very hard to make it work. When you pay for a suite in a `5 star' hotel you expect everything to work! the staff are pleasant but these things can be very annoying - either Booking.com should take responsibility for the room description if they got it wrong or the hotel should admit they might have mixed up the booking.

Wonderful
The location is fantastic. Less than a 25 minute walk to loads of great tourist sites such as the duomo and piazza le Michelangelo. The view of the river was excellent from the balcony of our suite and the room was a good size and felt well equipped.
We went at the end of October and were informed that the A/C could not be changed due to a city mandate. Unfortunately, the room was 22°C and it was quite humid. No fan was available to use at the hotel. Not the hotels fault, but there were also lots of mosquitos!

Location in Firenze is good
Small room on ground floor. Window opens onto a road, so can be noisey. Air-condition was off ( receptionist confirmed it was deliberately not an option to use ). So at night we were hot and opened the window. My daughter was bitten by mosquitos ( you could hear them in the night ). They leave nuts and wine out on the desk; which we ate & drank, but found out these were chargeable...normally stuff out on the desk is not chargeable ( stuff in fridge is )...so sly. The sauna and jaquizi are a joke...just installed. The Steam room and Sauna were cool...not working ( other guests told us the day before not to bother. The Jaquizi is not a fitted one...its a mobile unit ( that you can buy on Ebay ) you can put in your garden...cheap. There was a hot water hose balanced with a wet towel filling the unit, which came unstuck and hosed the whole room ( cieling ) with water and ended up going into a panel in the floor and flooding the floor. The changing rooms are literally only space for one person, so my daughter had to wait in the corridor until a guest finished changing. My changing room you could scarsly turn around. The worst thing was I got stuck in the toilet, a tiny room as the door lock was broken...I banged hard on the door for 5 mins and eventually the staff member heard me and got me out...I was definaltly slightly shocked by the experience. Thank god I don't suffer from claustraphobia. This hotel has quickly installed cheaply a "Health centre" to get a 5 star status....this is very obviously barely a 4 star..more like 3.5 star. Conned. Saftey concerns...the whole health club should be shut down until an inspector checks and signs off.

This was a nice hotel overall. It’s a bit expensive for the size of the room and the available amenities, but the experience was still enjoyable. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The real highlight was the amazing breakfast buffet. We usually skip hotel breakfasts since they’re often pretty basic, but this one completely surprised us. We went down just for a muffin and juice and ended up staying for the full spread. The service was excellent — attentive staff, mimosas flowing, and great coffee options like cappuccinos, flat whites, and macchiatos, plus every juice you could imagine. The front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was cute, modern, and up to date.
It was pretty expensive considering the rooms were so small.

The hotel was completely clean; the room was spotless, modern, and comfortable. The breakfast was very delicious and varied. I had the most delicious chocolate and almond cake I’ve ever tasted at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and polite. I had a truly pleasant and memorable stay here, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Florence.
There was nothing to complain about — everything was managed perfectly.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Directly across the river from Piazzale Michelangelo, a short walk to Ponte Vecchio, Galleria degli Uffizi and Basillica di Santa Croce. Everything else was within a 10, 15 to 20 minute walk. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and great coffee. Room was very clean, comfy bed, lovely bathroom with a great shower, ample wardrobe and drawers. The room had a fantastic coffee machine and tea making facilities as well as a mini bar. We were also welcomed with complimentary sweet treats. We would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast is wonderful! The room and bathroom is small for a 5-star hotel, but it is quiet. The location is next to the river, if your room is facing the river, the view must be very good, but unfortunately I didn't get it.
The hotel location is too far from the center, every day we have to take taxi in and out, and the road to the hotel is typically jammed, so be ready to walk a lot or take taxi a lot. Also there is no shops and restaurant in the surrounding area, we always have to take a taxi to get food or get around.
