This place was exactly what we were looking for! Our host was available but gave us space and it is located right in the heart of the city! If you are not good with stairs though I would advise against, but it didn’t bother us! Would definitely recommend to others!

This apartment was absolutely beautiful! Patrick was incredibly helpful and hospitable. The location was so central to everything we wanted to see in Florence. The view from our room of the Duomo was excellent, and we really enjoyed the natural light.
Because of how much sun this room gets, it can get really hot. But that's not a huge problem; you just have to be diligent about closing doors and windows at the right times.

Le Tre Stanze in Florence was hands-down one of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. Our room was a loft with a netted bed, a private terrace, and a massive open space inside a building that’s over 500 years old. The huge entry door to the building alone made you feel like you were stepping into another century. The room also had original operational windows spanning nearly the entire side wall, which made the space feel even more incredible and full of history. Every detail felt artistic, eclectic, warm, and welcoming. Even the bathroom had an old-fashioned high-tank pull-chain toilet that somehow made the whole experience even cooler.
Our host, Patrick, who is an artist, was also extremely kind and welcoming, which added even more personality and charm to the stay.
The location was incredible too. We explored the Wine Windows, stood in awe seeing The David, and were just steps away from the breathtaking Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Florence itself felt magical, and staying at Le Tre Stanze made it even more unforgettable.

Excellent location. Very good bed. Great host.
Need either screens in the windows or working AC. It was great warm weather so we needed the windows open to stay cool, and there were a lot of mosquitoes.

Le Tre Stanze is truly a unique and special place to say. Patrick has put so much care into decorating every inch of his home and it shows. He is also very kind - helped us with our bags up and down the stairs, frequently checked in on our stay, and made us feel very at home. And you can't beat the location - literally steps from the Duomo. We loved waking up to the bells of the cathedral ringing each morning!
No complaints! The stairs would have hard to navigate alone with our big suitcases, but Patrick was glad to help!

Location was amazing! A stone's throw from the Duomo and certainly thrilling to see the dome and full moon from the balcony of our room. Host Patrick was very welcoming and so helpful. Everything about our stay was beyond what we could have imagined. I totally recommend Le tre Stanze!

The location is perfect, 1/2 block from the Duomo. The apartment was charming and our room was very spacious. Decor was lovely and the room was very clean, with a comfortable bed. I loved the large windows and being woken at 7 by the bells from the tower nearby. Air conditioning worked well when needed. Patrick was welcoming and very helpful. Would definitely come back!!
This property is not for everyone. The building is old (which I found charming), there is no lift (4 flights of stairs), the bathroom is small, and you do not lock your room when you leave (though can lock when you are in the room). There are 2-3 locked doors (depending on time of day) to get to the apartment. I never felt unsafe but everyone has a different tolerance.

Patrick was the most helpful and congenial host! He helped two exhausted travelers get to their museum reservation on time, helped with our luggage, arranged taxi pick up for us and had very good recommendations on where to dine. Our room was wonderful, the patio was lovely!
Can't think of a thing, other than a few extra steps after a long day out and about!

The location was amazing. Just a block from the Duomo, but surprisingly quiet. Apartment was very spacious. Bathroom was tiny. Decor made it feel as though you are in someone's home and it felt very comfortable.
Stairwell completely dark at night. Not sure if a light was burned out or what. We got by with our phone flashlights.

Perfectly located to major sites. Old world charm inside and out of the property. Owner/ caretaker was very helpful in obtaining taxi service.
Instructions as to how to enter the property upon arrival were a bit confusing. Outside Door was locked and wasn’t able to access bell to alert owner we arrived. A phone call solved it though.

The bedroom was beautiful. It had an Italian antique vide. The large windows open up to the Italian sun and air. Everything was perfect. Our host, Patrick, was amazing. He was very polite and informed of the area.

Le Tre Stanze is exactly like the pictures! A charming and character filled place to stay. Patrick is friendly and helpful, and has decorated the place beautifully! We felt right at home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with access to a kitchen as well. The apartment is a short walk from the Duomo and within 10 minutes walking from most other museums and things to do, it was very convenient!
I would just note as some others have, you are unable to lock the door to your individual room while out during the day, it has an internal latch for when you are inside but once out you can’t lock it. There were other people staying in another apartment while we were there and it wasn’t a problem, however just to be aware.
