Riccardo is a delight! He was an exceptional host who really loves what he does. You can tell he really loves his city and takes care to make sure everyone who visits Florence has the best time. He gave us so many great recommendations and tips for enjoying Florence to its fullest. The room was clean, and comfortable - and had the coolest Florentine art and decor on the walls and ceilings. We stayed for two nights and slept very comfortably each night!

Wonderful host, nothing like having a local give you recommendations. Even as far as making reservations for us. Property was beautiful, decorated well, gorgeous ceilings and paintings. Easy walk to city center and stations.

Bed was clean and comfortable.
Room was artsy and vintage, just like the rest of Florence.
Location was walking distance to the main center.
And most importantly, the host, Riccardo was very friendly, helpful and insightful.
Would recommend.
We’re not used to external bathrooms but to be fair, it was stated beforehand.

Don’t walk from the property to the train station if you have suit cases - take a car / plan for a 20+ minute walk w the cobblestones and the tiles

Very nice large room with a wonderful new mattress and new bathroom. A small balcony looked into a small courtyard and made for a very quiet location. Host was very helpful and communicated very well. He allowed me to check in early which was much appreciated. While there was a mini fridge in the room the addition of a kettle would be very helpful for making tea or instant coffee. Prices for rooms are quite high in Florence in season and while expensive for me this was still a good value compared to other places.

The location of this property is ideally suited to explore Florence. The room was tastefully decorated with renaissance art. Our host, Riccardo, was a consummate gentleman who took time with us to introduce us to his city. It’s clean and well attended to. Thank you Riccardo.
It looked a little sketchy, but it was really located in a authentic neighborhood. All was fine. Really nothing not to like.

We had such a lovely stay! Ricardo was so kind and helpful! He showed us where to park and told us all about the best spots in the city. The room was clean and stocked with everything we could need. He even walked us to get our car at 7am when we had to drive to the airport, just to show us the way out of town. I cannot recommend this spot enough!!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The place was very beautiful, spotless clean, and located in a very central area. It’s only about a 15-minute walk from the train station, or just one tram stop away, which made it super convenient for us. The host was extremely kind and welcoming, and even gave us great recommendations for interesting places to visit in the area. We really appreciated the warm hospitality and the perfect location.

Ricardo was a fantastic and enthusiastic host. Best host I’ve ever had. He provided us with chocolates, cookies, and focaccia upon arrival, and personally helped us with our luggage. He sat down with us with a city map and walked us through where we should go and what we should see, and also left us with recommendations for breakfast and dinner. We tried them all and each was fantastic. We left feeling like we had gotten the full Florence experience and could ask for nothing more from him.

We had a great stay at La Luna Guesthouse! The room was beautifully styled—charming, cozy, and full of character. The location is incredibly convenient: just steps away from a tram stop, close to the main train station, and only about a 20-minute walk to Piazza del Duomo. Plus, the area is lively with plenty of great bars and restaurants nearby. A perfect spot for exploring the city while enjoying a comfortable and stylish place to stay. A special shoutout to Riccardo, who was exceptionally kind and welcoming—he really made us feel at home. Highly recommend!
