Everything was perfect for our 3-night stay! Sylvia was such a delight and very helpful! The room wasn't quite ready when we arrived (earlier than expected) and we were able to stow our luggage there. The location is less than a 10-minute walk to/from the train station. We chose our breakfast options the night before and Sylvia delivered it at our requested time.

Perfect location between train station and city center. The owner was friendly. Breakfast is great. The view of the room is on a small garden.

From our initial communications to when we checked out, Sylvia was a marvelous host and no one could have been more cheerful, helpful or easy to deal with.. also her restaurant recommendations were excellent.
The apartment is close to the station for those - like us - arriving by train, and wanting easy access to the sights.
The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and there was a fridge and a kettle in the room.
The main negative is sort of unconnected to La Locandiera and that is the relative value for money offered by Florence apartments. We stayed in similar accommodation Lucca and Siena for half the price, so you could say the value for money does not compare to these place, but by Florentine standards, we got our money's worth.
Another issue I should mention is the current shambles at Pisa Airport over the EES system. We "enjoyed" a 2,5 hour wait at immigration while over a thousand people were milling about waiting to use one of three EES machines. If we were in Florence again, we would certainly stay here, but we would not want to use an Italian airport while they are such a shambles. Businesses depending on tourism need to pressure the authorities to get their house in order.

Lovely B &B, only 5 minute walk from train station. In a quiet section, but you can easily walk to the Duomo and other sights in 15 min. The host, Silvia, was the best... answered all of our questions with a smile and delivered a wonderful breakfast to our room each morning.

A cosy, exceptionally clean room by train station with a short walking distance to many city attractions. I appreciated having a small lockable safe and a kettle. Although I didn't use the fridge, when travelling during the summer is a nice amenity to have. Everything was well thought to detail, such as having a wine opener in the room and multiple channels on TV. The heating worked well. Host Silvia was very friendly, helpful and caring. The communication prior arrival was also excellent and reassuring. Traveling solo I felt very safe and super comfortable. I would certainly book again. Thank you, Silvia.

Terrific B&B close to train station but quiet area. Comfortable room with nice outlook and comfy bed. Silvia brought us a delicious breakfast in our room every morning. Highly recommended for a stay in Florence.

Less than 5 mins walk from station and few minutes from Il Duomo. Lovely old building. Really quiet my room faced on a courtyard with a pretty tree in bloom.
Silvia was the best host - warm friendly- helpful allowing me to drop luggage early.

Location was close to the train station but also in a very walkable distance to the city centre. The room had everything you would need. Silvia was a very warm and welcoming host. Overall a very enjoyable stay, I will be back next time I'm in Florence!
