Sylvia was an amazing host. She went above and beyond to help us get to the airport to catch our flight during a 24 hour transportation strike. So thankful. Our stay was perfect. Breakfast was delicious. And loved that it was delivered to our room. The location was within walking distance to all of the sights.

Only suggestion would be a better setup for arrival on how to let the B&B know we were downstairs. We ended up ringing the people across the hall lol

The room was clean and comfortable, with useful amenities (fridge, kettle, safe). The host was very kind and attentive throughout my stay. The location is very good — just a short walk to the main sights and right by the train station.
Unfortunately, the host had to leave a night earlier than expected for a trip she had planned. She offered for me to stay alone in the property (there were no other guests booked for that night) but as a solo female traveler I didn’t feel comfortable. She arranged a partial refund (half the amount I had paid for that night) and a late checkout so I could move to another hotel, which I appreciated, but it did cause some stress and an extra expense on my last day, since I had to pay for a last minute booking.

This is one of the most exceptional B&B’s that we have ever stayed at! The innkeeper, Silvia, is incredibly welcoming, helpful and prepares one of the best breakfasts we have had on our travels! She even delivers it at a time we selected each morning and prepares a cooked breakfast that we have chosen from an extensive menu! The inn is located in a great neighborhood that is within close walking distance to all the major sights!We look forward to staying at the inn again on our next trip to Florence!

We had a lovely stay at La Locandiera. Sylvia is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. The room was a great size, plenty of space for the two of us and having the table to take breakfast at was very handy. The breakfast was really nice and was a great way to start our mornings. I would absolutely stay here again, the location was great, just a few minutes from the train station but very quiet at night.
